If you have a hard time falling sleep or getting deep, rejuvenating rest, you must listen to this series. Getting a Good Night's Rest guided meditation series has seven parts, intended to be listened to on seven (preferably consecutive) days. It is derived from my research over the past 20 years on getting maximum rejuvenation and waking up feeling your very best. The practice includes tips from neuroscience, sleep hygiene, yoga techniques and ancient spiritual practices.

Welcome to day three of Sleeping Well.

Never go to bed feeling shattered or too tired.

You will sleep well if you change your emotional state before you're nod off.

So here's an exercise to create a positive state of mind if you're either feeling too shattered or too tired.

I want you to review the film of the day.

Just rewind and walk through your day.

And I want you to pick a positive incident.

Something that had a good result today.

And I want you to walk through that.

Relive that memory in your mind.

Where were you?

What was going on?

Who were you with?

And most importantly,

How did you feel at the end of this incident?

Acknowledge it.

With gratitude from the heart,

Let it go.

Thank you.

Now let's move to a second incident today that also had a positive or good outcome.

Walk into that scene.

Where were you?

Who were you with?

What were you doing there?

What were you doing there?

And how did you feel at the end of this episode?

Let it go from the heart with gratitude.

Thank you.

Repeat this exercise as many times as you need till you fall asleep.

And with each repetition,

Notice how you begin to feel a change in the state of your being.

Congratulations.

You've completed day three of Sleeping Well.

Let's check in tomorrow for another episode.

It's really working for me! Day 3 is especially good I think, and I love to continue this particular exercise. It's much more relaxing than breathing exercise alone. It loosens up my mind. Thank you for great tips. Namaste πŸ™πŸŒŸ

Great tip - to run through the day like a movie, focusing on the pleasant, memorable events that stand out, reflecting on how you felt, etc. Wonderful. Looking forward to the next one. Good night!
