Welcome beautiful soul.
Today we're going to forgive.
Forgiveness doesn't just shift your emotions,
It changes your biology.
When you hold on to resentment,
Anger or guilt,
Your body stays in a state of defense.
Your nervous system remains dysregulated,
Your brain keeps looping through survival-based pathways and your cells stay flooded with stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline which over time can lead to inflammation,
Immune dysfunction,
Fatigue,
You name it.
But when you choose to forgive,
When you genuinely release what you've been holding,
Something powerful happens.
Your body shifts from fight-or-flight into a state of parasympathetic regulation.
Your heart rate slows,
Your breath deepens,
Your brain waves begin to synchronize and your cells stop operating from stress chemistry and return to repair,
Regeneration and balance.
From a quantum biology perspective,
The electromagnetic field around your heart also changes.
Forgiveness expands the heart's coherence,
Sending signals of safety and connection to every cell in your body.
That coherence influences your gene expression which means forgiveness can actually change the way your DNA expresses itself.
This isn't just an emotional or spiritual act,
It's a cellular reset,
It's a neurological reprogramming,
It's a return to your natural frequency,
One of openness,
Of health and of inner freedom.
Because when you forgive,
You release trapped energy from your system,
You unhook from your past and your entire being,
Your body,
Brain,
Breath and your field begins to align with peace.
And that's what we're going to do today.
So make yourself comfortable and then slowly and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through the mouth.
Today we will step into a river,
A river that flows beneath your pain,
Beneath your story,
Beneath time itself.
A river that knows how to carry what you no longer need to hold.
So let yourself settle into the stillness.
Feel the earth beneath you,
Steady,
Present,
Unshakable.
You are safe here,
You are supported,
You are seen.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it gently at the top and exhale through your mouth as if the body is beginning to release.
Again,
Breathe in,
Hold and breathe out,
Softening even more.
Feel the weight of your body being held.
Feel the thoughts begin to drift like leaves on water.
Feel yourself drop into stillness,
Deeper into presence and deeper into your own heart.
Now with your inner eyes begin to see,
You are standing at the edge of a great river.
It glows with a soft light,
Not bright,
Not blinding,
But deeply alive.
The water flows gently,
Endlessly,
Patiently.
This is no ordinary river.
This is the river of forgiveness.
It knows what you've carried.
It knows what you've endured.
It has been waiting to help you let go.
So you walk toward the water and with every step the noise of the world gets quieter.
The weight you've held grows lighter.
And when you reach the river's edge,
You kneel down.
You touch the surface and it feels warm,
Alive,
Loving,
Like it recognizes you.
And now you get up and you slowly step into the water.
You feel the water rise around your ankles,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your chest.
Until you're standing in it fully,
Held by this current of unconditional love.
It asks nothing of you,
Only that you allow it to hold what you've been carrying for too long.
And now bring to mind someone you need to forgive.
It might be someone from this life or a soul from far in your past.
It might be someone you've already tried to forgive but whose imprint still lingers in your body.
Keep the first person to arise in mind.
You don't need to understand it all.
Just let the one who's ready to rise appear.
See their face and feel their presence.
Notice what arises in your body.
You don't need to make anything okay.
You don't need to justify their actions.
You are not excusing anything.
But you are choosing your freedom.
You are choosing to no longer drink the poison of resentment.
You are choosing to hand it to the river now.
So take a breath and say silently or out loud,
I release you.
I forgive you.
Not for your sake,
But for mine.
I hand this pain to the river.
I no longer carry what is not mine to hold.
And now imagine this soul stepping into the river too.
And the river wraps around both of you.
Not to reconnect,
Only to release.
And as you stand there,
Feel the current carrying away the tension,
The story,
The stuckness.
The river doesn't need details.
It doesn't need explanations.
It simply knows how to carry weight and how to return you to yourself.
Let the image fade now.
Feel your body.
What is here now?
What is missing?
What is lighter?
So powerful.
And now imagine not just one person,
But all those you've held inside.
The betrayals,
The disappointments,
The wounds that never had words.
They begin to appear like shadows on the shore.
And one by one,
You invite them into the river.
You do not need to speak with them.
You do not need to understand them.
You simply say,
I release you all.
I release what you could not give me.
I release what you took.
I release what I thought I needed from you.
I release the heaviness.
I release the grip.
And I give it all to the river now.
And let yourself rest here in the current.
Watch the river carry it all away.
Watch the water swirl,
Shimmer and cleanse.
Breathe.
You do not need to carry the pain of others any longer.
You're not the keeper of their choices.
You're not the container for their harm.
You are free to choose your peace.
You are free to choose your light.
You are free to live unburdened.
Let the river now wrap around you fully,
Flowing through your chest,
Your back,
Your spine,
Your bones.
Let it wash through your body like warm liquid light,
Cleansing every space that had been holding pain.
Not forgetting,
But remembering your freedom.
Wow,
Look at you.
Feel yourself gently dissolve into the current.
Feel the space within you growing quiet,
Clear,
Soft,
Open.
You are being purified by love.
You are being emptied of everything that was never yours.
You are not broken.
You are not bitter.
You are not hard.
You are water.
You are flow.
You are forgiveness embodied.
And in this moment,
You are free.
Let yourself rest here for a while.
Take a breath,
A long,
Soft breath.
And let yourself return fully to your own heart.
The river is still here.
It hasn't left.
It flows within you now.
And now we begin the most sacred part of this journey,
The most intimate,
The most powerful,
The most freeing.
Because forgiveness is not complete until it flows inward,
Until it touches the parts of you that you've pushed away.
The choices you regret.
The words you wish you never said.
The moments you can't take back.
The stories you carry about who you think you should have been.
But in this river,
There's no punishment,
Only purification.
Now,
With gentleness,
Bring yourself into your inner vision.
See yourself maybe as you are now,
Or perhaps as a younger you.
A version of yourself you've judged,
Blamed,
Shamed for too long.
See them standing by the riverbank,
Nervous,
Wounded,
Weary.
Look at you.
And without words,
You slowly walk toward them.
You take their hand.
How does it feel like?
And you lead them into the river.
Feel it rise around your ankles,
Your waist,
Your chest.
You see two versions of you,
Now embraced by the same current of love.
And now speak softly as if to your own soul.
I forgive you.
I forgive you.
I forgive you.
For what you didn't know.
For what you couldn't do.
For the ways you abandoned yourself trying to survive.
For the mistakes you made searching for love.
For carrying shame that was never yours.
For the promises you broke to yourself.
And for holding onto pain longer than you needed to.
I forgive you for being human.
I forgive you.
Now,
Take a breath.
Let the river receive these words.
And speak again,
This time from your heart.
You are not a mistake.
You were never meant to be perfect.
You were only ever meant to be real.
Wow,
So powerful.
So deep.
Let the river wash through your chest.
Let it pour into the cracks you tried to hide.
Let it cleanse the tightness,
The guilt,
The grief.
This river is older than your shame.
Older than your trauma.
Older than the stories of right and wrong.
It does not see you as broken.
It sees you as sacred.
And today,
You return to that truth.
Now,
Feel into your past.
See the moments where you turned away from yourself.
Moments when you were afraid to feel.
Moments when you pretended you were fine.
Moments when you hurt others because you hadn't yet healed yourself.
Let them rise.
No judgment.
No analysis.
Just presence.
And as they rise,
Say silently,
I forgive you,
Beloved one.
You were doing the best you could.
I see you.
I accept you.
I love you still.
Let the tears come if they do.
Let the raid rise from your chest.
Let the water carry it.
So powerful.
You're doing so amazing.
This is not weakness.
This is remembering.
This is what freedom feels like when it starts to land.
And now,
Begin to feel your true self rise within.
The one beneath the shame.
The one beneath the fear.
The one who has always been whole.
They are standing in the river now.
Radiant.
Free.
Not the self who had to prove or protect or pretend,
But the one who remembers.
I am love itself.
Let that version of you step into your body now.
Let them become you,
Cell by cell.
Heartbeat by heartbeat.
Breath by breath.
And silently one final time,
I forgive myself.
I release the weight.
I reclaim my light.
I am free now.
You are the river.
You are the forgiveness.
You're no longer at war with yourself.
You're no longer chained to your past.
You are walking forward lighter,
Softer,
Brighter,
And more you than ever before.
Rest in this peace.
Let it fill your whole being.
And when you're ready,
Breathe deeply.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel your body,
Your fingers,
Your toes.
And gently return.
You are forgiven.
You are free.
You are home.
And with that,
You can now slowly open your eyes.
Thank you so much for being here and sharing your time with me.
