In this talk, I explore what I call NDD — Nature Deficit Disorder, a condition almost everyone in our modern world seems to suffer from. We’re living in a society that teaches us to search for healing outside of ourselves: in endless doctor’s appointments, in supplements, in medications, and in technologies. Yet the truth is that the most powerful medicine is already around us — and within us. Nature holds the blueprint for true healing. Walking barefoot on the earth reduces inflammation in minutes. Morning sunlight regulates our circadian rhythm better than any pill. Consistency in sleep and exposure to natural rhythms creates balance, vitality, and joy in ways no device ever can. This session is a reminder that everything your body needs is already here. Supplements and tools can be helpful, but real transformation comes from returning to simplicity.

Hey my love,

Today I want to talk about an illness that I feel like 99% of people have nowadays.

I call it NDD,

Nature Deficit Disorder.

It's the state where we're constantly seeking healing and happiness in the outside world.

In medication,

In endless doctor's appointments,

In technologies,

In supplements.

We're buying grounding mats instead of just going outside and walking barefoot.

We're using red light devices instead of simply putting our face in the morning sun.

We take melatonin at night instead of living in sync with our body's natural rhythm.

Going to bed and waking up consistently,

Stepping into the sunlight first thing in the morning so our brain can produce serotonin during the day and melatonin at night.

We're filling ourselves with supplements often because the natural food that once nourished us is harder to find now.

And it's not your fault.

It's the way society is built.

But the truth is,

Everything we need to heal is already in nature.

This is the foundation of all the healing work I do.

Yes,

I sometimes use supplements or tools when nature isn't accessible in the moment.

But the base of true healing always comes from reconnecting with nature.

Think about that feeling of walking in a forest or barefoot in a park,

Your feet on the grass.

Grounding like this is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatories in existence.

In just 20 minutes of standing barefoot on the earth,

Your inflammation decreases faster and more efficiently than any medication.

We've simply forgotten how to use our bodies and how to use the natural world around us.

That's why I've dedicated myself to creating a kind of manual for returning to this truth,

To help us move back into our peak state of vitality,

Of ease,

Of high performance,

Of joy.

And often it's not about having more or doing more.

It's about coming back to less.

Less substances,

Less food,

Less chemicals,

Less doing and more being.

The deeper truths are the simpler. Sure, we can be healed with prescription medicines. But also, by real food and time and nature. Or, we can be healed in the actual divinity within, in stillness and faith. Many layers of truth in ths glorious existence. Bless you!

I absolutely feel drawn to go back to nature. No doubt. I am seaching and finding more ways to do this. A big one is moving from The Netherlands to Paraguay. Back to basic, back “in time”. We’ve just sold our house and I am so much looking forward to this new way of living. In the meantime I am enjoying being still here, and am making more and more consious choises, being more and more in the moment and learning a lot about my inner world and power. I didn’t know about the barefoot-inflamation-care! Wow!!! I just found a few weeks ago about the books of Medical Medium Anthony William! If you have never heard of it, please check it out! You will be amazed. I am always searching for what is true about eating healthy, cause there are so many opposite advices. He channeled all the wisdom from The spirit of compassion. A lot of things he desribes are not discovered by science yet. So I am really excited about learning and applying this. The books are quite addictive 😊

Hi Dana. I am one to go into nature with my dog twice a day. I also like to paddle and swim. In the winter I go cross country skiing. 😎

I take my daily regular supplements to assist with my self care as active with running, swimming and general exercise. I’m in bed on time to have a good nights rest. I’m going to try standing outside in the mornings barefoot, I like this idea! I LOVE nature, getting away to wildlife ( we have loads here in SA) so I’m fortunate! What other practices can I do to have a strong natural supplement? And thank you for this, this morning 🙏🏻😌
