Welcome to your daily gratitude exercise.

The best thing about this exercise is that you can do it from your bed when you are already tucked in and ready to fall asleep or when you want to let go of all the thoughts spinning around in your head that keep us awake for hours.

This is Dana and I am happy to guide you to winding down,

Ensuring to get your mind and body the rest it deserves.

I don't want to talk a lot here so make yourself comfortable and let's get started.

When you are ready,

Close your eyes and bring your hands on top of your heart.

Take one deep breath,

Let go of any tension on your forehead,

Tongue,

Legs and arms.

Bring your focus on your heart.

Try to think of 3-5 things that you are grateful for.

These things could be small,

Like your breakfast or that the sun was shining or it could be bigger that you had a great dinner with friends that made you laugh,

Anything that comes to mind.

Notice how these things make you feel,

Immerse yourself in the feelings of joy,

Gratitude,

Happiness.

Maybe these things even make you smile a little.

Next,

Think about a quality or an action of yours that made you proud today.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

Thank you so much for joining me,

I hope you have a wonderful sleep,

Good night.

I enjoyed how we jumped straight in, but then had lots of space. Lovely; thank you!
