By utilizing the power of affirmations, you are tapping into that subconscious part of you on purpose with wonderful words of encouragement. Hi there,

Thanks for joining me today.

I have a group of affirmations for you that you can listen to as you go about your day.

And I will say each affirmation two times so that you can repeat them in your head or out loud if you choose to do so.

The benefit of repeating is that your subconscious brain will stand up and pay attention just a little bit closer than if you were simply passively listening.

Our subconscious takes in all the bits and pieces around us and automatically makes it all about us.

So by utilizing the power of affirmations,

You are tapping into the subconscious part of you on purpose with these wonderful words of encouragement.

As we begin,

I invite you to take a few deep breaths,

Waking up your body.

And as you do,

Take a quick inventory of what you're feeling within.

Is there tension or tightness?

If so,

Is it in your upper body,

Your back,

Or maybe your lower body?

Are you breathing as deeply as you would like to be?

Is there something in your way?

What are the sounds going on around you?

Are they pleasant or less so?

And lastly,

Are there emotions swirling around?

Can you name them?

Can you feel them in certain parts of your body?

If not,

That's okay.

So let's give this body inventory a number to help us quantify what you're feeling right now in this moment.

I know you may not know or maybe be able to settle on an exact number.

So simply use the first number that pops into your mind.

Using the scale of 1 to 10,

1 being low and 10 being amazing,

Choose a number that represents your body inventory right now.

Let's get started.
