So this is the Dickens process,

A process for visionary and emotional goal setting So what you're gonna need is to have a space of uninterrupted time,

Free from media,

Free from interruptions,

Where you can find a comfortable spot in lying or in sitting,

Whatever you prefer.

And the whole process will take about 20 minutes in which you're going to be guided into two different scenarios.

So I want you to find your comfort space,

Lying on your back,

And just bring your awareness to your breathing,

Noticing as you lie on your back how your head touches the surface underneath,

Perhaps a rug or a carpet or a pillow,

And working your way down noticing how the backs of your shoulders,

Your shoulder blades,

Connect with the ground,

Down the backs of your ribs,

On your left side and your right side,

And breathing into these areas,

Breathing fully as your lungs expand,

As your body opens up,

And as you exhale allowing these parts,

Your head to sink into the pillow,

Your shoulder blades to soften into the floor,

Your arms,

Your ribs to settle in,

Moving downwards,

Noticing how the backs of your hips become in contact with the floor,

Perhaps the backs of your legs are in contact with the pillow underneath your legs,

And how breathing right down to the soles of your feet,

How your heels gently rest against the floor,

And breathing fully and wholly into your whole body now,

And exhaling letting your head to your heels settle into the ground.

Now I want you to bring your awareness inwards to an image of yourself standing in front of a mirror,

Perhaps it's a mirror in your house,

A mirror from your imagination,

And just really looking at yourself in the mirror,

Imagining your mind's eye,

Your hair,

How you look,

Your face,

Your facial expression,

Perhaps how you hold your body,

Noticing the clothes you're wearing,

Maybe noticing in even behind you your environment,

What's behind the mirror.

I want you to now connect in with the part of yourself in which you're trying to change by partaking on this course,

The challenges or the difficulties that you're having,

Or the behavior patterns that you're wanting to move away from in your life,

And really connect in and feel how these patterns are affecting your life.

Perhaps they're affecting your relationships with your family or with your friends,

Perhaps it's affecting your work performance,

Perhaps it's affecting your activity or performance on the sports field,

Perhaps it's affecting how you look,

Your physical appearance,

Your ability to connect and make new friends,

Or it's stopping you from your dreams of going hiking or traveling or starting that new business that you wanted to start.

And just really feel how it feels in your body,

And as you feel that feeling in your body,

I just want you to connect into yourself in the mirror and how it connects into how you're looking in the mirror.

Notice what you notice.

Now with a breath in and a breath out,

I want you to project yourself five years down the line,

Five years further along in your life,

In age and in work and in family life,

Five years where you haven't made any changes to your life,

Five years of you not changing these behaviors,

Not changing these patterns,

Not embarking on any healing or uncovering about why and what is happening and what you can do about it.

I want you to look into the mirror and look at yourself five years further aged and how that must feel and how you would anticipate yourself feeling,

And perhaps the five years of time that you've let slip of not doing the things that you wanted to do,

Not performing as much as you wanted to perform,

Not looking as healthy as you wanted to look,

Five years of your relationships still being stuck in the same habitual patterns,

Five years of perhaps your diet being not as healthy as you know that it can be,

Five years of you not embarking towards your dreams.

Just take a moment to look and look at yourself in the mirror and feel what this feels like.

Now I want you to project ten years down the road,

Ten years further aged,

Ten years of you continuing on this trajectory of not really changing anything in your life,

Not embarking or exploring or going on that healing that you know that you deserve,

Ten years of you procrastinating,

Not engaging in your dreams,

Ten years of your relationships struggling,

Ten years of eating unhealthy,

Ten years of not pursuing that which your heart longs for.

Just really look at yourself in the mirror and really feel how that feels and just notice,

Just notice how you feel without judgment,

Without desire or with or without wanting to change,

Just notice how it feels.

Now I invite you to explore ten years or twenty years down the road,

Twenty years of you further along in your life.

How do you look?

How does your physical appearance look?

How does your hair,

Your skin,

Your clothes,

Your facial expression?

Twenty years of you continuing on the trajectory that is causing you concern in your life,

Causing difficulty,

Making you feel challenged,

Making you feel perhaps unhealthy or unworthy or any of those feelings of self depreciation.

Twenty years of relationships that aren't blossoming like you know that they can.

Twenty years of job opportunities that never came your way or dreams or holidays or crafts that or hobbies that were never commenced that you know that is that are there for you.

Twenty years of not connecting into that beauty in the world that you know in your deepest being is available and just noticing how you feel,

How you look in the mirror,

How your surroundings,

Your environment look,

How you feel and really feel it,

Really allow yourself just to feel it,

Just to feel and to notice this reflection in the mirror without right or wrong or good or bad,

Just noticing what you notice.

Allow yourself,

Allow the feeling to percolate and to just be present.

And now I want you to understand and to know that this is not the trajectory that you're going on,

That you're choosing to move forward into,

That you have made a different choice in your life.

And so I want you to shake your arms,

Shake your shoulders and to invite all aspects of yourself to come right back here on this day,

On this date,

On this time,

All parts of yourself to be fully present right now and to know that this is not the path that you're taking,

That you're choosing.

You're choosing something different,

You're choosing something more,

You're choosing to be more of you,

To open up into the beauty,

To change these patterns,

To evolve and to evolve yourself and your relationships and your work and everything about you.

So I really want you just to shake everything,

Allow yourself to shake,

Shake your shoulders up and down,

Move your head back and forth and even go.

.

.

Shake all of that out of you and allow yourself to be fully here in your feet,

In your knees,

Fully in your hips,

In your body,

In your shoulders,

Elbows,

Wrists,

In your neck,

In your chin,

In your head,

In all parts of you being right here right now and really,

Really connect in to yourself.

Why and what it is that you are becoming,

What it is that your vision is for yourself and I really want you to stand here with a mirror in front of you and just look at yourself in the mirror.

Really feel,

Really feel and look at yourself in the mirror and connect in with this part of yourself that knows that there's something out there,

More out there that's beautiful,

That's of more value to you.

Perhaps the essence of something of why you're choosing to embark on healing,

What you're moving towards,

What is your goal and towards exercise or how you want to look or who you want to be with or what holiday you've always wanted to go on.

That essence and really allow yourself to feel the possibility of what in your heart you know that you were born to be,

Who you were born to be,

How you want to be in relationships,

How you want to be at work,

How you want to be with your community,

How you want to be with nature,

How you want to be with life and just let that fill up every cell in your whole body.

How you want to be supported,

How you want to support,

How you want to connect,

How you want to dance,

How you want to laugh and play.

Now I want you to project five years down the road,

Five years down the road of you making powerful decisions that are in line with this trajectory,

This of life more of you,

More of you opening up to you.

Five years of you engaging more passionately and compassionately in yourself and with life,

With your work,

With your family,

With your friends,

With your animals,

With nature.

How is it that you look in the mirror?

Notice your facial expressions,

Notice how your hair looks,

Notice those who are around you in the reflection,

Notice your environment,

See how your body language holds itself,

How you hold yourself,

How you feel,

Notice how you feel in your body.

How do you feel in your body and how does that relate to how you appear in your reflection?

Now I want you to project ten years down the road,

Ten years of you making powerful decisions for you to live the life that you were born to live,

To live a life full of passion and compassion and joy and feeling and connection in your work,

With your family,

With your friends,

How you're engaging and talking to people,

How you're speaking in ways that are connected to what it is that you feel and it's delivered in ways that is compassionate.

Notice how it is that you are with your work colleagues,

How you engage.

Really allow yourself to feel who you are becoming,

The type of work colleague that you're becoming,

The type of husband that you're becoming,

The type of wife that you're becoming,

The type of friend that you're becoming.

How does it feel to be in relationship with your friends and family?

How does it feel when you go on that holiday?

Really,

Really allow yourself to see yourself in the mirror ten years and allow those connections to happen with how you feel right now in your body.

Now I want you to project yourself 20 years down the road,

20 years of you standing in your own shoes,

You paddling your own canoe on self-discovery,

Self-healing,

On self-compassion,

On making decisions that you know are right for you,

For your well-being,

For your family's well-being,

For the planet's well-being.

20 years of you engaging in a connection of eating in a way that you feel is wholesome for you,

Drinking in a way that feels nourishing for you,

Dancing in a way that you feel opens you up,

Engaging in work or in life or in purpose.

20 years with you fully in line with your purpose of why you were born to be on this planet and how you were to live it.

20 years of you engaging in challenging decisions and persevering and committing and continuing even against the hardest of challenges but knowing that by you being you that's enough.

20 years of you in connection with your family,

In connection with your loved ones,

In connection with your partner.

20 years of you really committing to living life as full and as authentic as you are born to live it.

Really allow yourself to be here right now and feel,

Feel all of that.

Allow yourself to see yourself in the mirror and allow yourself to accept that this is who you are.

These are the choices that you are embarking on and that you have made this choice for you.

You've made a decision to be you,

To be more you and really allow yourself to feel that and to congratulate yourself that you've made some powerful and difficult but worthwhile decisions for yourself,

For your family in the past and know that you are making a decision by choosing the best version of you.

And just pat yourself on the back,

Congratulate yourself,

Celebrate yourself,

Allow yourself to be fully here on this day right now knowing that you're making a decision to embark on healing and connection and and being fully in yourself.

And I'm so happy and I really congratulate you on you being more you.
