This heart breathing practice will reduce feelings of stress and increase feelings of optimism,

Gratitude,

And energy.

Conscious or mindful breathing can be done anywhere at any time.

It can be done sitting down with eyes closed or standing up with eyes open.

It can even be done while driving.

Lift your attention or awareness to your heart area.

Place your hand over your heart if you like.

Think of your breath flowing in and out of your heart area.

Now breathe more deeply,

Rhythmically,

And slowly.

Think of somebody or something that you appreciate.

Think it's something that is real easy to appreciate.

Try to hold the feeling of appreciation or gratitude in your heart space while continuing to breathe slowly and deeply.

Enjoy this practice as long as you like.

Doing this practice will help get you into a more positive emotional state.

Your mind will become quieter.

Concentration will occur and your concentration will improve.

There's an incredible system of energy flowing through you.

It controls your emotions.

It dictates your desires.

It influences your strengths and your weaknesses.

It has been there since you were born and will stay with you always.

This is the energetic heart in action.
