Hello beautiful,
Welcome.
Thank you for being here today.
This practice is a gift to yourself and to this world.
Today's practice is an exploration into trust when the road ahead is uncertain.
And it's a call to remember that we are supported in this present moment,
However and wherever it finds us.
I invite you to find a position that is comfortable for you.
This might be lying down,
Sitting casually or with your back straight,
Standing,
Moving,
Even dancing.
However your body and soul calls you to experience this practice is where I invite you to be.
Remember,
There is no right or wrong way.
As we begin to settle in,
Begin to notice your breath.
Inhale to a count of four,
And exhale to a count of four.
Continue inhaling and exhaling.
If you'd like,
You can increase the count of the numbers slowly and gradually to five,
To six.
As you continue inhaling and exhaling,
I invite you to check in with your body.
Notice if there are areas where you might be holding tension.
Often this occurs in the jaw,
The face,
Shoulders.
You might even do a brief body scan,
Starting at your feet,
Wiggling your toes,
Moving your ankles,
Flexing your calves,
Your hamstrings and thighs,
Moving to your hips,
Gentle shake,
And your torso and back.
As you reach your shoulders,
You might roll them gently,
Even lift your shoulders up to your ears.
Move your arms gently,
Squeeze your hands open and closed.
Move your neck back and forth and your head gently around.
Often the body moves us through life without our full awareness,
And we don't recognize what is stored.
As we continue to inhale and exhale,
Continue returning to your breath,
To presence.
If any thoughts arise,
Place them gently on a soft cloud and let them float away.
Return again and again to this breath.
We don't judge our practice as good or bad,
Depending on how quiet the mind is.
We practice for the purpose of awareness and presence,
Of what is happening right now.
We'll continue inhaling and exhaling,
Practicing awareness,
Greater ease.
As you tune into your breath,
Return periodically.
Notice the state of your body.
Can you lean in and gently relax even more into areas that unintentionally are being held?
I invite you to place a hand over your heart,
Or imagine your hand placed on your heart,
And repeat the following.
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am held.
I am supported.
I am loved.
The path that is unfolding is doing so in divine timing.
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am held.
I am supported.
I am loved.
The path that's unfolding is doing so in divine timing.
This moment of awareness we can continue to trust in with openness,
Remembering that the universe supports us.
Darvishya Dood Salaam Yes,
Please trait When we walk in the unknown,
It's good to remember that we have many tools that we can access to and return to as we shift and recalibrate our present moment.
I invite you to smile and experience the physiological effects on your body.
This isn't to say that life is happy or perfect or carefree in any way.
It's rather a reminder of this present moment and the slight shifts that we can engage in.
Smile as though you are greeting a deeply cherished friend or pet or family member or if you're visiting one of your favourite locations.
Smile as though you are greeting a deeply cherished friend or pet or family member or if you are visiting one of your favourite locations.
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am held.

I am loved.

May this practice multiply in your life with goodness,
Beauty and the knowing that you are held,
You are safe,
You are protected and you are loved.
No matter the coming changes,
You will be okay.
We will be okay.
We do not know the future,
Though we do know this moment.
May you have peace,
Presence,
Deep love and awareness.
Thank you for giving yourself this gift.
The following is an excerpt from Letters to a Young Poet by Ranir Maria-Relk.
I want to beg you,
As much as I can,
Dear sir,
To be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves,
Like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue,
Do not now seek the answers which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them.
And the point is to live everything.
Live the questions now.
Perhaps you will then gradually,
Without noticing it,
Live along some distant day into the answer.
We will continue inhaling and exhaling in silence.
Lay it here for a moment.

As this practice soon comes to a close,
Remember that it never ends,
As we seamlessly continue to in life,
Breath by breath,
Moment by moment,
Day by day.
May your practice bring you great peace,
Love and awareness.
I believe in you.
I know life believes in you.
Know that you are protected,
You are held,
You are supported,
And you are so very deeply loved.
Namaste.
