I was just so busy that I lost track of time.
No problem my friend.
Just what were you doing anyway?
Well,
First I was chewing on some wood and then I was building a new dam,
Yeah.
And then I was chewing on some wood and then I was trying to catch some yummy fish.
Oh yeah,
Yeah,
Yeah.
And then I was chewing on some wood.
Okay,
I get it.
It really does sound like you were a busy beaver today.
And that's okay.
We just need to know how to hit the pause button and slow it on down when things get too crazy.
In fact,
That's what today's meditation is all about.
I'm going to teach you an easy way to do this.
Are you up for it Busy Beaver?
Oh yeah,
You betcha.
How about you cool koala?
Oh,
You know me.
I'm always ready to listen and learn.
Excellent.
So try to find a nice quiet spot and get real comfy.
Hey Busy Beaver,
Do you want to sound the meditation bell?
Oh,
Yeah,
Yeah,
Yeah,
Yeah,
Yeah.
That would be fun.
Here you go.
Nice and slow.
Today we're going to do a calming breath meditation to help you feel relaxed and happy.
Before we do,
Let's make sure that we are ready.
You can lay down or sit,
You know,
Whatever works best for you.
Now wiggle around until you feel just right.
If you're comfortable,
You can close your eyes.
Now let's take a nice deep breath in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.
Make sure that when you inhale,
You breathe that air all the way down into your belly.
Feel your belly expand like a balloon when you breathe in and shrink back when you breathe out.
In fact,
Let's have you put your hands on your tummy and feel it slowly get bigger and rise as you breathe in and slowly get smaller as you breathe out.
Let's just take one more slow deep breath just like this.
Let's try something fun now with that breath.
Picture a really cool looking scented candle in front of you.
Just think about what that scent would be.
Whatever scent is your favorite.
The candle is lit and the flame is slowly dancing and flickering.
And we want to keep that candle lit.
But you know,
It sure would be fun to make that flame dance a little more.
So let's start by slowly and gently blowing on the flame and watching it move and flicker.
And slowly inhaling through your nose,
Taking the sweet fragrance.
And exhaling gently and slowly blowing out through your mouth and watching that flame dance.
Keep breathing slowly like this and picture that candle and just take your own time and take a few breaths just like this.
Enjoying the smell and the dancing flame of this candle.
All right.
The next few moments just relax and rest.
Just breathing naturally.
Feels good to relax,
Huh?
Cool thing is that your breath is always with you.
You're learning how to breathe to calm yourself and feel good wherever you are.
We're just practicing it now so that you can do it on your own later.
So just enjoy this calm feeling and the relaxing music for a little longer.

Start to bring your attention back into the room.
You can wiggle your fingers and toes,
Rub your hands together,
Slowly open your eyes whenever you're ready.
