Allow yourself to surrender and be wrapped in love from the inside out with this gentle warming embodiment meditation. Sometimes it can be so difficult to just allow ourselves to accept the love we so deserve. This meditation brings you into gentle connection between heart and breath, and softly opens and warms the heart with loving energy. We then slowly flow this loving warmth throughout the body, filling it to overflowing to then envelop the body in a beautiful, soothing, loving hug. Enjoy.

Thank you for joining me in this practice.

I am honored that you are sharing this time with me today.

This meditation can be done sitting or lying down.

Just taking a moment now to find a comfortable position to rest,

To slow down and to take this time that's just for you.

And just settling in now to your comfortable position.

Just breathing calmly,

Easily,

In and out through the nose and allowing the mind and the body to just slow and calm just a little bit more with each nice calming,

Easy breath.

And becoming aware of all the places where the body meets the ground.

Just noticing where the ground supports the body and allowing the body to just let go and relax right into the ground,

Letting the ground embrace and hold it.

Knowing there's nowhere else you need to be,

Nothing else you need to do but just relax and let go and enjoy this time that's just for you.

Maybe taking a moment to say a little thank you to yourself for taking this time and doing something so kind,

Loving and compassionate for yourself.

And we're going to set an intention for today's practice,

An intention for just allowing ourselves to be loved.

Something that may sound so simple but can be just so difficult sometimes just to embrace ourselves and allow ourselves to accept the love that we all deserve.

Just taking a moment to feel into that intention for allowing love,

Allowing yourself to be loved just as you are.

Letting that intention travel throughout your whole body just infusing into every cell of you and just telling the body that it's okay to just let yourself be loved and to accept that love with no question.

Just letting that intention just travel throughout the body now and just feeling that intention resonate reverberate with every part of you knowing you deserve all of this love.

Just taking a nice big deep breath in now.

Just softly slowly letting that go.

Releasing that intention out into the world,

Out into the universe and knowing there's nothing else you need to do.

Just letting that intention unfold for you in the way that it's meant to.

Just breathing normally and easily now just resting in this calm quiet stillness as we gently and slowly begin to draw the senses inward.

Just placing the attention now on the breath,

Focusing your awareness there and following the breath's calm,

Soft,

Gentle journey in and out of the body.

Just following the breath's path and noticing it enter the body in through the nostrils,

Noticing how the breath sounds in the nostrils and noticing how it feels as it enters.

Following the breath in into the space of the head,

Into the jaw,

The throat,

The breath relaxing softening and opening all that it touches creating space to move,

To flow.

Flowing down into the chest,

Feeling it soften and create space here in the chest.

The breath flowing down to the heart,

Gently touching the heart,

Feeling the heart soften,

Maybe noticing the heart's beating a little bit quicker on the inhale and noticing the heart beating a little bit slower on the exhale creating this beautiful rhythm and balance with the flow,

The journey of the breath through the body.

Just continuing to let the breath calm and soothe the body and the mind as it flows in and out.

Following the breath down to the belly,

Noticing and feeling it round and expand with this beautiful breath and out.

Noticing the ribs and then the chest rise as the breath fills them,

Lifting up towards the sky creating all this space for the breath to flow and fill.

Noticing into the breath as it travels out to the body through the nostrils,

Up and out through the throat,

Jaw,

Head out through the nostrils into the world.

Noticing the chest and the ribs lower as the breath leaves and the belly flattening as the breath travels out.

Soothing and calming all that it touches,

Softening,

Creating space connecting you,

Quietening you,

Giving the mind a beautiful focal point to calm the thoughts and be so kind and loving to the body.

Just enjoying how this feels for a few moments and just resting.

Noticing the awareness now on the heart,

Just feeling into the heart for a moment,

Feeling a soft gentle beating in the chest,

Hearing its quiet gentle rhythmic beating.

A little quicker on the inhale and a little bit slower on the exhale.

Noticing the breath with the heart,

Just breathing into it,

Feeling the breath flowing softly and gently right into the heart.

Softly opening and welcoming this beautiful breath into it,

Allowing the breath to soothe your body,

Connecting breath and heart together.

Feeling the heart opening ever so gently more with each breath into it,

Releasing tension,

Releasing stress,

Releasing heavy energy,

Just allowing the heart to just let go.

And the heart opening more and more with each gentle exhale.

Just really feeling the heart now,

Connecting with it.

Feeling now in the heart a beautiful,

Loving warmth,

Loving energy flowing into the heart on the breath.

Warming and softening the heart more and more with each breath,

The heart embracing this warmth,

The heart relaxing into this beautiful energy of love,

Connecting with this feeling of love,

Warming the heart more and more with each breath,

Filling it with beautiful love.

Feeling into and feeling into this beautiful love within the heart now.

Embracing and allowing this feeling in the heart,

Warmth,

Love,

Compassion and caring.

Allowing it to fill the whole area of the heart.

Just feeling into this now in the heart.

Allowing the heart to overflow with this warm emotion,

Energy of love.

This energy now overflowing from the heart and filling up the body.

And feeling this beautiful,

Warm,

Loving energy starting to fill up the whole body now.

The whole body.

Feeling the warmth of love traveling down into the belly,

Filling the whole torso,

Traveling down the legs,

Filling up the legs,

Filling the quads down past the knees,

The calves,

Into the ankles,

Filling up the feet.

The whole legs full of this beautiful,

Warm love all the way from the top of the hip all the way down to the very tips of the toes.

The whole body warm and soothe this loving energy from the tops of the shoulders all the way down to the tips of the toes.

Feeling now this beautiful,

Warm,

Loving energy filling the arms from the tops of the shoulders,

Traveling warmly down the biceps to the elbows,

Traveling warmly into the forearms,

To the wrists,

Into the hands,

Feeling this beautiful,

Warm,

Loving energy in the palm.

Now spreading out through the fingers,

Filling the fingers all the way out to the very tips of those fingers.

The whole arm filled with this beautiful,

Warm,

Loving energy all the way from the tops of the shoulders to the very tips of the fingers.

Warming the arms,

The arms formed and soothed with love.

Feeling this warm,

Beautiful,

Loving energy carried on the breath,

Filling and warming the throat,

Softening and soothing it,

Traveling up into the jaw,

Into the head and the face,

Feeling the face and the head warm,

Soothed,

Relaxed with all of this warm,

Loving energy.

And the whole body filled with this warm,

Soothing,

Loving energy from the crown to the tips of the toes and shoulders to the tips of the fingers.

The whole body filled,

The whole body filled with warmth and with love.

Just enjoying this warm,

Soothing feeling for a few moments.

And the body now overflowing with this warm,

Beautiful,

Soothing,

Loving energy.

Feeling this energy now start to spill out from the body,

Feeling it wrapping around the edges of the body.

Feeling this warm love outlining the head and the face,

The neck,

Shoulders down the arms,

Outlining the fingers,

Outlining the torso down the hips,

Outlining the legs all the way down to the feet,

Outlining the toes.

The whole body wrapped,

Whole body outlined with this beautiful,

Warm,

Soothing love.

Very warm and tingling this love from the inside out.

Now imagining this loving energy,

It's pushing out from the body a little bit more as the body is so overflying,

This energy now wrapping around you,

Embracing you as if there are beautiful,

Warm,

Loving arms of energy hugging you,

Embracing you,

Allowing this warm,

Soothing,

Loving energy to wrap you as if it's loving arms of an embrace holding you.

Allowing this warm,

Loving energy wrapped around you like a blanket of love embraced,

Allowing this love to hold you,

To hug you,

Tighten securely so warmly.

You are so loved,

Allowing yourself to just relax,

Surrender into this embrace of love that you so deserve.

So warm,

So snug,

So safe,

So loved,

Cradled here,

So cradled in love.

Allowing this love to gently rock you and soothe you,

Embrace you.

You are so loved,

Feeling into that love,

That warmth,

That embrace,

Melting into it,

Allowing it to envelop and soothe you,

Loved from the outside in and loved from the inside out.

And you are so loved,

Just embracing this love,

Allowing this love to embrace you and just resting in this space,

Cradled in love for a few moments,

Cradled in warmth,

Safe,

So loved.

You are so loved.

Feeling that love from the outside in,

Feeling that love from the inside out.

You are so loved.

Just releasing that awareness now.

Just resting,

Breathing easily and normally.

Allowing this love to remain in all parts of you as we slowly and gently begin to turn our attention to the awareness.

Just placing the attention and the awareness now back on the breath.

It flows in and out through the nostrils.

Noticing how the breath feels in the nostrils.

Noticing how it sounds.

Noticing the temperature of the breath in the nostrils as it flows in and as it flows out and noticing it's just a little bit warmer on the exhale.

Becoming aware again of any sounds close to you in the room,

Any sounds further in the distance.

Becoming aware again of the temperature of the air against your skin,

The feeling of your clothes,

The fabric against your skin.

Slowly and gently coming back on the breath.

Becoming aware again of all the places where the body rests against the ground.

Feeling into the ground again and coming back here into this physical space.

Becoming aware again of the room.

Visioning the room and envisioning your body back in it.

Slowly and gently coming back to this physical space.

Slowly and gently coming back more and more with each breath.

Coming back here now in this physical space.

Remembering again the intention you set at the beginning of this practice.

This intention for allowing yourself to just be loved as you are.

Just connecting again with that intention and allowing it to spread its warmth throughout the body.

Connecting that intention with all parts of you,

Infusing every sound as you get ready to take this intention back with you out into the world.

We're going to close today's practice with three nice big deep breaths in and out through the nostrils.

So let's begin.

Nice big deep belly breath in.

And releasing that.

Back here in this physical space.

And we'll do this two more times.

Nice big deep breath in.

And slowly letting that go.

Allowing the breath to soothe you,

To energize you,

To ground you back here in this space.

And one last time.

Nice big deep belly breath in.

And releasing that.

Back here now.

Maybe wiggling the fingers now.

Maybe wiggling the toes.

Maybe raising the arms above the head if that feels right for you today.

Just resting back here now in this space.

I invite you now when you're ready to slowly,

Gently open your eyes.
