Hello everyone and welcome to Shaman's Breath,
A shamanic drumming dynamic breathwork experience.
In this breathwork practice we are going to do dynamic breathwork to a beautiful shamanic soundscape,
Including shamanic drumming,
Birds,
Rattles,
And flutes.
The shamanic drum traditionally is designed to bring someone into a deep trance state,
And that is the intention here in this dynamic breathwork flow.
If you've done dynamic breathwork with me before,
Then you know we're going to do 40 controlled hyperventilated breaths.
And after the 40th breath,
We'll take a deep breath in and sigh it out.
Once we sigh out the breath,
We will hold the breath for anywhere between 45 seconds to a minute and a half.
After that,
We will take a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling up the lungs all the way.
Then we'll take a little bit more breath in,
Sipping in the breath through the mouth,
Holding the breath for a minute,
And then eventually we'll alm the breath out together.
We will do three rounds of this dynamic breathwork to the shamanic drumming music today.
Without further ado,
Go ahead and get into a nice comfortable space that is very safe and conducive to a deep breathwork experience.
So if you're sitting up,
Make sure everything around you is nice and comfortable and soft in case you need to lie down.
And if you're lying down,
I invite you to lie down on a flat surface so you can really move and deepen your breath as you inhale and exhale.
All right,
Without further ado,
I'm going to guide you through the entire process and we're going to begin with two foundational breaths.
Breathing in through the nose,
Deep into the belly,
Chest,
And head,
Holding it at the top,
Opening the mouth,
And sighing it out.
Again,
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling up the belly,
Chest,
And head,
Holding at the top,
Opening the mouth,
And sighing it out.
