In today's meditation,
There is an invitation to come home to your body,
To come home to the feminine.
I invite you to begin by sitting or lying in a comfortable position.
Without adjusting or changing,
Beginning to notice your breath.
Notice the lungs,
How they feel on their own without any effort on our part.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest.
Now with allowing the lungs to fill on their own,
On the exhale,
I invite you to blow the air out through your lips.
And when your lungs are completely empty,
Allow the lungs to fill on their own without efforting,
Without trying,
Just noticing.
And we'll continue like this for a few more moments,
Allowing the lungs to fill.
And when they're completely full,
Blowing that air out through your lips until again,
Your lungs are completely empty.
And as they fill on their own again with air,
Just noticing,
Noticing,
Observing,
And staying with this breath,
I invite you to bring your attention to your stomach and this time becoming aware of this space inside of you,
Allowing the air to fill the belly and expand.
And when it becomes full,
Blowing this air out through your lips until it's completely empty.
Continuing with this breath,
Allowing the air to fill up within your belly space,
Blowing out on the exhale through the lips.
And continuing to stay with this breath,
I invite you to bring your attention down into the root of your body,
Into the pelvic bowl.
And with each inhale,
Allowing the breath to fill into that space.
And with that exhale out through the lips,
Imagining the rim of this bowl coming together as all the air is squeezed out.
And as the air comes in to the pelvic bowl,
The rim around that bowl begins to open with the breath.
And continuing to stay with this breath,
Imagine now that as your pelvic bowl begins to fill with air,
That air becomes water filling your pelvic bowl.
And as you blow out through the lips,
That pelvic bowl begins to close around the rim and the water that it was holding begins to spill over the sides.
And with that natural inhale,
It again begins to fill with water,
Allowing yourself to continue with this imagery,
Noticing any sensations you might feel within your pelvic bowl,
The space of creation,
The space of transformation.
Now allowing your breath to move as it will.
And just observing,
Imagine now within your pelvic bowl,
Within this pool of water,
You see a smaller version of yourself floating,
Floating in this divine water of creativity,
Of life force.
Notice the temperature of the water on your body.
And as you float in this sacred space,
You start to become curious about the walls within your pelvic bowl.
And you see yourself swimming down into this water to touch the walls of your pelvic bowl.
And as you explore her walls,
You notice there are parts that are smooth and there are parts that are malleable,
Whereas there are other spaces on the wall that seem to have become hardened and hold tension.
Notice these spaces.
Notice what they have to offer you.
Notice what these represent.
And now as you come up for air,
You decide to swim around the edge of this bowl,
Around the rim,
Feeling into this space.
And now as you bring your hand to the different parts of your pelvic bowl,
You notice that with every touch,
With every crevice,
That you give this part of yourself.
She softens.
She softens with your attention.
And you notice that she is alive,
That she holds within her an entire ecosystem,
And that as you speak to her,
As you relate to her,
She responds and she has a message for you.
You become curious and maybe her message is in words.
Maybe it appears as a vision or an emotion.
Whatever she has to share with you,
Know that you can trust this image,
This word,
This vision,
This message.
And as you receive this,
You touch her in the most loving way you know how.
And with this connection,
There is an intention to hold her in your consciousness,
To invite her into all the creative aspects of your life,
To trust her wisdom and all that comes through her.
And now coming back to the surface of this water,
You feel yourself open as you float gently on the surface of her pool,
Re-inspired by this connection to the feminine,
To the mother,
And allowing yourself to float in that pool while bringing your attention slowly back into your breath,
Noticing the belly filling on its own and exhaling on its own.
And as you come upwards,
You become aware of your chest rising and falling,
Still aware of this connection to the root of your body.
You feel a space within your heart allowing your root to ground you,
To inform your heart.
Now simply bringing your attention and your awareness to your face,
Allowing everything to be just as it is,
Witnessing yourself for all the beautiful aspects that you hold inside of you,
Joyful and anticipation,
Knowing she has so much more to share with you,
To come through you.
And if you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
I invite you to stay in this space a bit longer as you lay.
And as you go throughout your day,
I invite you to connect with the creative parts of you.
And as you do so,
Bringing an awareness and attention to this space,
This root deep inside of you.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
