In tis meditation, listeners will direct their attention to the top of the body, observing any sensations or tension. Attention will then shift to the bottom of the body, following the same process of noticing and addressing sensations. The practice emphasizes balancing awareness between the top and bottom of the body, and concludes with a return to the spine to further promote relaxation and a harmonious sense of well-being.

Good evening,

And welcome to step 4 in getting a better night's sleep.

Tonight,

We're going to envision the top and the bottoms of our body.

So often,

We don't really feel grounded and safe.

And so often,

Sometimes we feel like we think too much in our head.

Tonight,

We're going to allow for ourselves to notice what these areas feel like.

Not what they think about,

But what they feel like.

So as we get started this evening,

I'd like you to find a spot where you can feel comfortable.

And as you find that spot,

Take a nice,

Slow inhale in.

And exhale out.

Allowing yourself to soften and just feel into your body.

Taking another nice inhale in.

And exhale out.

As you start to become aware of how you feel.

Next,

We're going to bring our awareness to the top of our head.

We do this by just bringing our awareness to the top.

Taking a nice inhale in.

And exhaling out.

And as we bring the awareness to the top of our head,

We just begin to feel and notice what it feels like.

Does it feel heavy?

Does it feel light?

But most of all,

Just becoming aware of what it feels like.

Taking a nice,

Slow inhale in.

And exhaling out.

Next,

We begin to bring our awareness down to the bottoms of our feet.

Our feet are what grounds us and connects us to the earth.

So as we slowly start to feel and notice into the bottoms of our feet,

We take a nice,

Slow inhale in.

And a nice,

Slow exhale out.

As we become aware of what the bottoms of the feet feel like.

Inhaling in through the nose.

And exhaling through the mouth.

As you allow for yourself to notice from the back of the heel all the way to the front of the toes,

Taking a nice inhale in.

And exhaling out.

Slowly bringing your awareness back to the top of the head.

And just noticing what that feels like this time.

A lot of times throughout the day we think and we want answers.

And sometimes we just need to feel and notice.

And that's where the answer lies.

So as you allow for yourself to feel and notice into the top of the head,

You take a nice inhale in.

And you exhale out.

Allowing for the top of the head to feel however the top of the head feels.

Nice inhale in.

And exhale out.

Just bringing that awareness into the top.

Next,

We'll slowly bring our awareness back down to the feet.

As we take a nice inhale in.

And exhale out.

Noticing from the front of the toes.

Back to the heels.

And back around to the toes.

As you slowly inhale in.

And exhale out.

Just becoming aware of how the feet feel.

As we feel into the body,

We continue to take nice inhales in.

And exhales out.

We end this session today by becoming aware of where we notice the most energy in our body.

And as we bring our awareness and our attention to that space,

We hold it there throughout the evening.

For us to nourish,

For us to cherish it,

And for it to share with us however and whatever it is it's feeling in a safe,

Calm,

Comfortable space which is inside of you.

Until the next time,

We'll see you later.
