This guided meditation allows you to understand how to connect more deeply with your intuition by connecting with and listening to, your body's cues. This is a must when it comes to personal development and discovery, without a deep connection to our intuition and bodies, we will remain living from the ego.

Hello and welcome to your moment of connection.

And today's topic is about connecting deeply with ourselves.

And a big part of doing that is being able to connect with our intuition.

Our bodies are equipped with an incredible navigation system that always knows what's best for us or what's right for us in the moment.

We learn to be able to really connect with that and to listen to it.

We'll be on our best and highest path,

Following what lights us up,

Knowing when to turn,

And knowing when to pause,

Based solely off of the cues that our body gives us.

So today we're going to walk through a guided meditation exercise that's going to allow you to get in contact with the places in your body that you feel your cues the most.

And from there,

Once you know what they are and how they feel,

You'll be able to begin using them throughout your life.

And it'll make your life much easier and more fluid.

So before we begin,

Get comfortable either lying down or sitting up.

You'll need about 10 minutes or less for this meditation.

You want to pick a quiet space where you'll be uninterrupted.

Once you're ready,

You can begin by closing your eyes and taking three long deep breaths,

Inhaling for a count of four and exhaling slowly for a count of five.

Begin that now,

Slowly inhaling and then slowly exhaling.

Feeling your breath relax your body further and further.

Take two more breaths just like that,

Allowing yourself to relax just a little bit more.

And steady your breath and let it return to its normal rhythm.

And follow my voice cues as we take a little journey to connect with your intuition.

I want you to imagine that you're about to walk into a dinner and it's an amazing seven course dinner,

Perhaps at one of your favorite restaurants.

And you're going to be spending about three to four hours at this dinner,

Really sitting for every course,

Making your way through the menu.

You approach a table and you sit down and I tell you that you have a surprise dinner guest that's going to be joining you.

And you're going to be spending the next three to four hours minimum with this person having this meal.

Now I tell you that your surprise dinner guest is the person in the world who annoys,

Irritates you the most,

Whose voice you find grating and who you would never willingly choose to spend time with.

This is your dinner guest.

What is your response and what is your reaction?

And where do you feel it in your body?

Right?

When I tell you that this is the person you'll be spending the next three to four hours with really feel that emotional response and notice exactly where you feel it in your body and what it feels like.

If this feeling had a color associated with it,

What would it be?

And if this feeling had a taste associated with it,

What would it taste like?

And if this feeling had a temperature associated with it,

What temperature would it be?

This is the place in your body where you feel your no.

This is what no feels like,

What it tastes like,

What it looks like,

What temperature it is.

This is the reaction,

The response your body will give you when something is a no.

Now I want you to release that memory,

Settle back down into your body,

Remind yourself that you're safe,

Connected and protected and take two long clearing breaths to move any of that energy out of your system.

Take those now.

Big clearing breaths,

Imagine your breath is moving any energy that's stuck through your body.

Go ahead and settle back down into your body and feel yourself relaxing a little more deeply.

Now we're going to take another little adventure.

Imagine yourself at your favorite vacation setting,

A place that's the most beautiful spot in the world to you,

That you feel relaxed and connected and carefree and lighthearted.

And imagine yourself walking into a dinner location in this place,

And it's beautifully appointed,

All of your favorite colors are around you and scents,

Visually appealing.

When you sit down at a table,

One of the most comfortable chairs you've ever sat in.

And now I tell you,

You're going to have a three to four hour dinner,

All of your favorite courses,

All of your favorite meals,

All of the favorite food you've ever had and tasted,

You're going to have tonight.

And you get to share it with your favorite person on this planet.

Somebody that you can talk and laugh with for hours and days passed by like minutes.

Somebody that lights up your world and excites you just to be around and just to talk to.

And you get to spend this entire evening with them,

Sharing your favorite foods,

Connecting over memories,

Sharing laughter.

Really connect with the way that that makes you feel and notice where in your body you feel it.

And what does it feel like?

If this feeling had a taste associated with it,

What would it taste like?

And if this feeling had a color associated with it,

What color would it be?

And if this feeling had a temperature,

What would that temperature be?

Really let yourself be immersed in this feeling,

Really connect with where you feel it in your body.

This is your place of yes.

This is where you will feel your yes when something is right for you.

This is how it will feel.

This is the taste that will bring up the color,

The temperature.

This is how your body will let you know when something is a yes.

And go ahead and release that feeling too.

As we settle back down into our bodies and prepare to come out of this meditation,

Make the commitment to yourself to honor the cues and signals your body gives you.

And moving forward as you deepen your connection with yourself on your path of self-discovery,

Whenever possible,

Make the commitment to honor those cues.

And if something isn't a yes,

Then it's a no.

Make the maybe wherever you can so you can really start to settle into and become confident in the signals of your body.

If it's not a yes and it doesn't light you up,

Then it's a no.

The more time we spend doing things that light us up,

The more clear our path becomes.

The more clear the direction we need to go into becomes and the easier our life becomes.

Honor your body,

Honor your cues.

They will never lead you astray.

Close with one final deep breath,

Sealing in the commitment to honor our body and our body cues as we end our practice.
