Sometimes we are overwhelmed by feelings like anger, fear, jealousy, or desire. In this meditation, you are guided to just be with your feelings and quietly observe them. By simply noticing what is going on in your body and mind, you will create more space around it. Observing the thoughts and feelings, you will realize that you are not them; you are just the witness of them. In fact, the place where you are observing is naturally peaceful and still. Like this, even a strong emotion can be a stepping stone to finding peace and discovering who you really are.

Now first take a deep breath,

Inhale and exhale,

Maybe closing the eyes,

Bringing your awareness inward,

And start to notice what is here,

Maybe there are many thoughts,

Now just notice that,

Don't fight it and don't go into it,

Maybe many plans,

Worries,

What if,

When can I,

I should,

But,

Just notice that dynamic,

Dynamic movement,

Then notice how it feels or how you feel,

What feeling is here,

So don't invest in thinking about it,

But rather start to feel,

Where do you feel anything in the body,

Where do you feel any emotion,

Maybe there is a tension,

A tension in the belly or in the chest,

Maybe the head feels like it's spinning,

It can be even unpleasant,

Hard to be with,

And the best you can just feel it,

Observe it,

Observe the sensation,

It is here now,

So let it be here,

If there are any ideas like it shouldn't be here,

I don't want to feel this way,

Then notice that,

Those are reactions,

They are thoughts that you can watch,

And return again to that feeling,

And be with it,

In a friendly manner,

Also notice the space around it,

The space in which it appears,

It doesn't need to go,

Let it be here,

Quietly watch it,

And breathe with it,

It's okay,

Even if there are still thoughts,

But how,

What if,

And see their thoughts,

And keep watching,

Whatever is here,

Whatever is coming,

Just notice it,

And watch it move,

Coming and going,

And notice that you are just a witness here,

A feeling is here,

Thoughts are here,

But they are not lasting,

But you are not them,

You are watching them,

Or you could say,

You are the space within these feelings are coming,

Lasting a while,

Changing,

You are the space within which all feelings and thoughts appear,

And are seen,

But you are not the thoughts,

The feelings,

Can you see this,

All the time you are here watching,

Noticing,

Not even consciously noticing,

But you are here,

I mean you are not always consciously noticing,

And sometimes just noticing without realizing that you are the witness of it all,

And the best you can,

Just notice how you feel,

How the feeling is,

How the thoughts are,

And then notice that you as the witness is not changing,

Is that which is here disturbed really,

No it just is,

In other words the space in which it all appears,

Is the space disturbed,

Or bothered,

It just is,

You just are,

Notice your own stillness,

Resting this being,

And even if new thoughts and new feelings come up,

Just watch them,

Don't fight,

Don't be afraid,

Let them come and they will go,

But there is no hurry for them to go,

Even,

Because you are just here,

And as you are,

You cannot be disturbed,

You are still,

Disturbance means thoughts,

I want,

I don't want,

I don't like,

And so on,

These thoughts can be seen,

Or disturbance means feeling really bad,

Restless,

Irritated,

You can feel it in the body,

There is tension,

Movement,

But you can watch these,

It's okay,

It's okay,

Whatever state the body is in,

Whatever state the mind is in,

It can be seen,

You are here,

Quietly being,

And this which is,

It cannot be taken away from you,

It's your very essence,

Now what is more you,

What is more essential to you,

Whatever the thoughts are saying,

Self-image,

Your story,

Or this which is,

The story is always changing,

The feelings are always changing,

The ideas,

Sometimes peaceful,

Sometimes restless,

Sometimes optimistic,

Sometimes pessimistic,

Ungraspable,

Really,

Momentary,

But this here,

To whom it all appears,

This just is,

Has always been,

Will always be,

Try to remove it,

It's impossible,

You might even open your eyes for a moment,

All view is there,

Sight is here,

But this which is,

Does not appear,

Is not changing,

Cherish this,

Cherish this realization,

In a way we could be grateful for those difficult moments,

Because they more motivate us,

To look within and see who we really are,

To find that place of stillness where everything that is,

Is okay,

Okay,

Because we are in essence,

Okay beyond okay,

Peaceful without conditions,

Free,

Free,

Boundless,

Still,
