Resting in being, not pursuing anything. Just here, quiet and natural. Don't run after any thoughts, don't try to become anything. Keep coming back to yourself, right now, here, as you are. To be doesn't take any effort and it's our true resting place; peaceful, light, and joyful.

So,

Becoming aware of your presence,

Firstly,

Become aware of the body,

Feel the sensations,

Small sensations of pressure,

Warmth,

A tingling and anything else,

But also notice the space around the sensations,

The movements of the body,

Like breathing,

The pounding of the heart,

But all of them,

All the sensations,

They're very fleeting,

They appear,

Disappear,

They do not stay,

They're not steady,

The only thing that stays throughout is the space in which they appear.

Notice this.

Now,

Also notice that before you can notice anything,

You are already here.

What is here?

Before any experience can arise,

I'm not asking for a word or a right answer,

But for you connecting to some intuitive knowing.

Again,

What is here?

Even before you start to notice anything,

Before you become consciously aware of anything,

What is here?

Notice this self-evident being.

We take it for granted because it's always there.

We don't even talk about it because it's always there.

It's so natural.

It's a given.

But now,

See it,

Feel it,

Without adding any image or special feeling.

Just rest in this.

In it,

Experiences happen or appear.

The sense of the body,

A thought,

A sound,

But nothing can diminish your being here.

So the mind,

With its many thoughts,

May distract us and create a sense that something's going on.

Something needs to be worried about or judged.

Just notice this is only activity of the mind,

Creating its own universe of ideas,

Feelings.

Don't worry about what the mind has to say.

Only silently resting here,

Now,

Not doing anything.

So it may happen that the mind becomes very active,

As if to escape from this quiet.

Only notice this.

Watch it as if from a distance.

If the mind is not believed in,

Not followed,

It will lose the juice.

It will lose the energy.

Just keep coming back to this.

Just being.

This doesn't mean that it's wrong if anything arises.

Let it be so.

Desires,

Fears,

Anger,

Obsessions.

They may still arise.

They may create sensations in the body,

Feelings.

Just watch it as detached as you can.

Aha,

This is what happens in the body.

Aha,

This is what happens in the mind.

Openly watching.

Not fighting.

And like that,

Returning to natural silence.

There can be something in us that wants to understand this.

Using beautiful words and phrases.

But any word and phrase,

However beautiful,

Is not this.

It is just a thought.

So don't get stuck there.

Don't be interested.

Rest again with empty hands.

Just here.

What the mind may subtly create is this sense of a someone,

A person,

Doing this practice.

Or a person living his or her life with so many complications.

Creating that image,

That idea.

All you have to do is just notice that.

Notice what is created by the mind.

You don't have to start denying it or fighting it.

Just notice,

This is a thought.

I am so and so.

I'm like this,

I'm like that.

This thought is a thought.

Before this thought,

There's space,

There's being.

Breathing is still going on.

Feelings in the body are still happening.

Sounds are still passing.

But primarily,

You are here.

Not even expecting anything.

Not going anywhere.

Not working towards a special experience.

This being,

This silence,

Is not dead.

It is vibrant and alive.

Notice this.

From it,

Everything springs.

Everything comes and goes.

From it and to it.

There's no limit to it.

You are not limited.

Being cannot be limited.

It has no beginning and no end.

It doesn't even have a specific place.

It just is.

It's not demanding anything,

Not dreading anything.

Be this.

Rest in this,

As this.

The mind may say,

There's so many things that still need to be solved.

That still need to be understood and improved and corrected.

Just leave that.

There's no need for creating perfection or adjusting anything.

Be free of that.

Just be here,

Completely open,

Present,

Like you naturally are.

It's light and subtly joyful.

There's no idea of problems here.

Even if the idea of a problem arises,

Notice it's of the mind.

Being is beyond it.

You're boundless.

You're naturally free because nothing can take you away or limit you.

This being is not dependent on anything.

It's not a thing.

The mind cannot really grasp it.

We cannot locate it even.

The mind will try to do that because such is its nature.

But notice that even before such attempts to analyze or understand,

Even before that,

The being is here.

You are.

No need to improve it or to hold on to it.

Try to get rid of it.

And you cannot.

This is.

All we need to do is to stop doing so much and find we are already here,

Naturally at peace.

At peace.

And free.
