Taking a moment to find some length through your spine,
Gently lifting your chin and closing down the eyes and tuning into your breath.
As you inhale,
Breathing in through the nose,
Filling up the belly and as you exhale gently allowing the belly to drop towards the spine.
So inhaling,
Filling up,
Exhaling letting go.
In through the mouth,
Out through the mouth,
In through the nose and out through the mouth or in through the nose and out through the nose.
So on the inhale filling up the belly and on the exhale gently drawing the belly in towards the spine.
Nothing in the chest but all into the belly.
I'm just focusing your mind on the feeling of breathing in,
Breathing out,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Finding your rhythm,
Finding your counts of breath.
And as you continue to breathe in through your nose,
Filling up your belly,
Just notice this moment of stillness at the top of the breath before you begin to exhale and drop the belly towards the spine,
Allowing yourself to let go.
Inhale,
Fill up the belly,
Exhale,
Let go.
Inhaling deeply filling up the belly,
Exhaling,
Letting everything go.
And if your mind continues to wander or race with thoughts,
Just imagining they disappear as you exhale,
Filling with your breath.
And just notice the moment of stillness between thoughts.
As you let the thought go,
Enjoy the stillness before the next thought enters the mind.
Perhaps refocusing on breathing in and breathing out,
Breathing in,
Breathing out and letting go.
As you begin to deepen your breath,
Inhaling in through the nose,
Filling up the belly,
Exhale,
Perhaps with a sigh letting go,
Inhaling deeply,
Exhaling,
Letting go.
Just gently bringing your awareness back to your surroundings,
Wriggling your toes and your fingers.
Just bringing awareness back to the room,
Gently blinking open the eyes when you're ready.
