Welcome to the self-love meditation.

When we meditate,

We target the mind.

We transform the mind,

And in return,

The mind transforms the body.

Today we'll blend elements of love,

Kindness,

And compassion to deepen our connection within ourselves.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting with your back supported or lying down.

Close your eyes gently and begin by tuning into your breath.

Take a deep,

Calming breath in through your nose,

Feeling your abdomen expand.

Exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension.

Settle into a breathing pattern that is slightly deeper than usual,

But not forced,

Just enough to feel the full sensations of each inhale and exhale.

Focus on the rhythm of your breath.

Inhale,

Feeling the air fill your lungs,

And exhale,

Noticing the release.

If it helps,

Silently say to yourself,

Breathing in as you inhale,

And breathing out as you exhale.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring to mind someone or something you love.

Perhaps a person,

A pet,

Or maybe God.

Picture them clearly in your mind.

Feel the warmth and tenderness of your love for them.

Notice how this love makes you feel.

Perhaps a sense of comfort,

Joy,

Or peace.

With each breath in,

Visualize filling your entire body with this loving energy.

With each breath out,

Imagine sending this love out from your heart toward them.

As you continue to breathe in and out,

Feel the love you have for them filling your entire being,

Radiating outward.

Now picture a specific moment in your life when you felt truly loved,

Seen,

Heard,

And accepted.

It could be a moment of personal achievement,

A time of deep connection with someone,

Or an experience where you felt proud of yourself.

Take a moment to really go there in your mind.

Visualize what you were doing and who you were with.

Think about the emotions you felt during this time.

Where do these emotions live in your body?

Are they in your heart,

Your head,

Or perhaps your stomach?

Take note of where you feel these emotions most strongly.

Now think of the color that represents love for you.

It might be a soothing blue,

A warm pink,

Or a vibrant red.

Visualize this color glowing warmly in your heart.

See this color expanding from your heart,

Filling your entire body with its loving hue.

Allow this loving energy to fill you completely.

Feel it flowing through your body,

Soothing every part of you.

Any areas of discomfort,

Send loving energy there.

We are now healing your body from within.

Remember,

We all have the power to heal ourselves.

Let this love fill every organ and every muscle in your body,

Soothing any aches,

Any pains,

Any worries,

And any fears.

Feel the connection between this loving energy and your sense of self-worth.

Understand that you are deserving of this love and let it remind you of your inherent value.

As you breathe in and out,

Let this loving energy flow freely from you out into the universe.

Imagine it finding its way to those who need it,

To those you know and to those you don't know,

Offering them comfort and kindness.

Know that even if they don't consciously feel it,

Your love is making a difference.

With all this love now flowing through you and into the world,

Turn it back toward yourself.

Feel this love pumping through your body,

Flowing into your heart,

Lungs,

And every part of you.

Let it fill not just your physical being,

But your entire energy system,

Your soul,

Spirit,

And the very core of who you are.

Embrace this love and let it be a source of comfort and strength.

Allow yourself to be fully present with this feeling of self-love,

Kindness,

And compassion.

As we bring this meditation to a close,

Know that this love flows through you every moment of every day.

It connects you to others and to yourself in meaningful ways.

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Now bring your awareness back to the room.

Gently open your eyes and take a moment to notice something around you.

Maybe something you haven't seen before.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,

Feeling grounded and present.

When you're ready,

Carry the sense of self-love and warmth with you into the rest of your day.

And remember that this love is always within you.
