This is a brief, calming practice for moments when starting feels impossible. Instead of forcing motivation, we use a gentle 5-in / 5-out breath and a grounding mantra to help your system return to center. This practice softens the freeze response, eases internal pressure, and helps you reconnect with one simple next step — without judgment, effort, or willpower. Perfect for: task paralysis, overwhelm, mental fog, emotional overload, or needing a quick reset between tasks. Feel free to use it throughout your day whenever you need to pause, realign, and begin again.

Transcript

A short procrastination reset for when you just can't start.

You're not broken,

You're just stuck in a moment.

Let's create a very short shift gently and without judgment.

Lower your gaze or gently close your eyes.

Inhale through your nose and slowly feel your breath land low.

Exhale even slower as if you're letting go of pressure.

As you breathe,

Whisper silently,

I'm not lazy,

I'm just misaligned,

I return to center.

One more breath in,

Think presence.

One long breath out,

Release pressure.

And choose one simple step,

You've already shifted.

When you pause with your breath,

Interrupt the spiral.

You don't need more willpower,

You just need realignment.

Stillness brings back clarity from center and action flows.

Use this short,

Quick reset any time in between work to get all of your daily tasks done.
