Let's start this practice by sitting in a relaxed position.
Make sure your chest is open and the breath can flow easily.
Relax your body and give yourself permission to be here,
Allowing yourself the gift of rest.
When you are ready,
Eyes gently close.
Allow any thoughts or stale beliefs or assumptions to dissolve and melt away into the darkness,
Subconsciously allowing it to no longer weigh you down.
We walk through life invisibly cocooned with all the adversity we wish we could control,
Relinquishing them from our memories.
When in fact,
Without the adversity,
We cannot grow,
Rest in knowing that change builds our emotional resilience.
Let's now ground down in body,
Feeling your feet softly planted on the ground.
Release any need for controlling the flow.
Taking a deep breath in,
In through your nose and a slow exhale out through your mouth,
Letting the breath naturally happen in and out.
Inside your mind's eye,
Repeating these words after me,
I am strong.
I surrender.
By stopping ourselves from worrying about the bumps we may hit,
We allow the divine to enter our lives,
To trust the journey and live a full life.
I am strong.
I surrender.
Taking a beautiful deep breath in through your nose,
A slow exhale out through your mouth,
Allowing any tension to melt away.
I am strong.
I surrender.
Every inhale you take,
Imagine your breathing in calmness and exhaling any stress or anxiety.
I am strong.
I surrender.
I surrender.
Breathing in the gentle love that lives inside of you,
The bright light,
The self that is strong.
I am strong.
I surrender.
I surrender.
Realise how empowered you are to reach out from your busy life and connect here.
I hope you can feel the kindness in meeting this self now,
In the quiet of this moment.
I am strong.
I trust the journey.
I surrender.
Release a little more,
Dropping down closer to the earth.
You are strong.
Taking a moment to notice between how you felt earlier to how you feel now after tuning into your body,
Mind and spirit.
It's okay to hit the pavement.
It is okay to have hard times.
In fact it's inevitable.
It's a big part of living a balanced life.
And we can't avoid it because it's in the challenge that we grow.
These fears do not serve you.
Life loves you.
You are not failing.
Gently bring your attention back here into the room.
Thanks for practising with me today.
Have a blessed week.
