Today we are going to learn how to reconnect to our bodies and relax.

There are many layers to our being.

The mind that operates us to help us to think.

The heart that contains vibrations of compassion.

And the body that relaxes and contracts based on the conditions of the mind and the heart.

We exist mostly in the mind where we sift through past memories and future dreams.

Because of this our bodies are in a constant state of tension.

Perpetual state of achieving and busyness.

One of the first things you must do when relaxing is to disarm the mind.

Daily breathing can bring us into a state of stillness and calm.

In today's meditation we will be working to do just that.

Deep breathe,

Quieten down the mind and reconnect to the body.

Taking some time now to breathe.

Deep inhale in through the nose and a slow exhale out of your mouth.

Taking a moment now to place one hand on your heart centre and one hand on your tummy.

If you're able to lie down this is the best position to relax and let go.

Please feel free to grab a pillow,

Blanket and anything that is comforting and soothes your body.

Closing down your eyes.

Lay flat against the earth.

Arms and legs spread wide at your side.

Allow yourself to relax and be completely unguarded.

Slowing down.

Breathe in and out.

Notice which hand is moving as you breathe in and out.

Connecting here with the ground you are laying on.

Taking your breath all the way down into the stomach and notice your hand rise with the inhale and fall with the exhale.

Letting your body release and sinking into the ground.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

The earth is always below you though your life may feel busy there's always this ground,

This strength,

This support from the earth holding you.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Notice how you let go of the tension the more the earth supports you.

Relaxing just a little more.

You are safe here in this space.

Bringing your awareness now back into your body and gently opening up your eyes.

Have a gentle stretch stretching your arms high above your head as if you're waking fully back into this room relaxed and refreshed.

Beautiful.
