Welcome,
Beautiful soul.
You've arrived at a moment of deep bravery,
A quiet space where compassion can rise and shame can soften.
If you've been carrying guilt for needing rest,
If you've ever questioned your worth after a diagnosis,
If part of you still whispers,
I should be doing more,
This meditation is for you.
Saying no is not failure,
It is love,
A sacred act of kindness to the parts of you that are still healing.
Today we remember,
You do not need to be fixed,
You need to be loved.
Find a comfortable posture,
Seated or lying down,
Let your body be held by the earth.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze,
Let your shoulders release,
Let your hands relax,
Let your face soften.
Take a breath in and gently breathe out.
Another breath in and as you exhale,
Feel yourself returning home to your body.
Begin to notice any places where shame may still linger,
The quiet ache of not enough or the weight of having needed help.
There is nothing wrong with you,
There never was.
Place a hand gently here on your heart,
Whisper inwardly,
I see you,
I hear you,
I feel you,
I am here for you.
You are allowed to be soft,
You are allowed to be messy,
Undone,
In progress.
Your healing is not a race,
Your rest is not a weakness,
Your worth was never in question.
Now imagine any guilt you have been carrying,
Almost like a heavy coat across your shoulders.
With each breath,
Begin to loosen it,
Not to push it away,
But to hold it with understanding.
Say softly within,
I am not a burden,
I am a being who is healing.
I release the need to prove,
I choose to be gentle with myself.
Let the shame melt into kindness,
Let the guilt exhale into grace.
Now imagine a soft shimmering light surrounding your body,
It is warm,
Protective,
Loving.
This light is your boundary,
A membrane of care that says,
I matter.
I am allowed to need,
I am allowed to say no,
I am allowed to protect my peace.
You do not have to explain your boundaries,
You only need to honour them.
Let this moment be a rest,
Not a break from life,
But a return to it.
You are not behind,
You are not broken,
You are becoming.
Now whispering softly to yourself,
I deserve to be loved as I am.
I am enough,
Even in the quiet.
Taking a breath in,
Feel your body grounded,
Supported.
Exhale with softness,
As if your breath could say thank you.
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes.
Return gently to your space.
And know this,
You are never alone,
You are not too much.
You are not behind,
You are truly loved.
Namaste.
