Here we will contemplate the meaning of perfection and maybe experience the way in which we are naturally perfect or maybe said differently perfectly imperfect.
So let's begin just by making a little space.
If you like the eyes can be closed here.
The eyes that do so much work all the time here just a an opportunity for the eyes to rest without having to do anything.
Maybe taking a few deep breaths.
Allowing the moment to be just as it is,
Perfectly imperfect and now you might imagine a tree.
Any tree that you see in the mind's eye and maybe contemplate its perfection in the way that nature does not make mistakes.
Its bark is full of wrinkles and holes and knots and its branches move here and there and extend and bend in all different ways following the energy of the Sun.
And there is a natural perfection to all the imperfections.
You can extend this to a flower.
Whatever flower you see or maybe feel in the mind and contemplating its inherent perfection.
Perfectly imperfect.
You might imagine a plastic flower placed next to a real flower.
The plastic flower appears perfect but upon close inspection it is obviously unreal.
The real flower with all of its imperfections is real and thus it is perfect.
And now you might imagine a newborn baby.
A perfect gift from the universe.
And now you might remember the way in which you were once a newborn baby.
You are still this perfect expression of the universe.
And the universe needs you to express yourself just as you are.
In the same way that a tree expresses itself just as it is and a flower expresses itself just as it is.
You are an expression of nature.
All of nature is beautiful.
Perfectly imperfect.
Perfectly imperfect.
So maybe just taking a little while longer here to breathe in and out and feel this inherent perfection.
And now if your eyes were closed you can gradually allow them to reopen whenever they want to.
And you can take a few more deep breaths here.
And you might even allow the body to move around in any way it might like to.
So I encourage you to continue to grow and evolve and learn new things and improve what you can.
But from a place of this internal intrinsic perfection.
Maybe said differently this intrinsic wholeness,
Completeness.
When we try to grow and evolve and fix things based on a sense of incompleteness or imperfection or scarcity then we're acting based on a false assumption.
The assumption that we were at one point imperfect,
Incomplete.
But we are perfectly imperfect.
Perfectly imperfect.
