The ultimate aim of meditation is a peaceful and quiet mind. So let's take a few minutes to find some internal silence. My guidance here is quite minimal and simple. There is nothing to do. Nothing to figure out. Just a little space for inner peace.

Peace and quiet.

You can allow the body to relax or let go in any way it might like to.

And you might take a couple deep inhales and exhales here.

All the way out and all the way back in.

Mind you don't have to think anything or figure anything out or solve anything right now.

Body you don't have to do anything right now.

Just becoming as natural as you can.

Here in the center of everything.

Peace and quiet.

But now you can take a few more deep breaths.

You can re-release anything that might keep tightening back up in the body.

If this felt right you might come back and join me again.

And maybe I'll see you around.

Peace and quiet.

Really calming. Just stopping. Breathing. Knowing that in this moment I don't have to DO anything. So simple, yet extremely effective. This is a great anytime meditation that I'll practice, a lot! ☺️ Thank you Charles (again)

A welcome addition to my saved Charles / Tao/ Zen tracks. The silent part, even for just a few minutes, is always a challenge for me. This makes it easy to practice. Thanks!

I will keep this short meditation in my pocket for when I need ‘5 minutes peace’. It’s also the title of a kids book that I have read to my grandkids! 🙂💕

In all the seven years of subscribing to IT as a member, this was the most minimal of guidance, theme, and practice ever experienced. Utterly elegant simplicity. Yet; don’t be fooled by its ostensibly spartan elements. Every aural zen garden that he builds with us holds ineffable, inestimable illuminations. (As a big fan, now, I’ll show up any ol’ time for Charles’ unique and instructive offerings...)

Thanks for all of your offerings, Charles. The peace and quiet was so quiet, I jumped when you started talking again. One way to wake the heart up. Haha
