There's a difference between you being present and allowing the present moment to be who you are. When you attempt to be present, you maintain a separation between you and presence. But when you allow presence to be who you are, well, something different happens. Something new. Let's see what happens.

There's a big difference between you being present and allowing who you are to be the present moment.

Being the present moment.

So you can feel free to allow your eyes to close.

Allowing the eyes to close as opposed to you closing them.

Allowing the body to relax in the same way.

Letting go of any sense of you needing to hold this together and be naturally held together by this present moment.

Becoming increasingly open,

Porous,

Maybe even transparent.

Allowing the present moment to be who you are.

Being the present moment.

Now you might just take a few more deep breaths.

You can allow the body to move however it might like to move.

And you can allow the eyes to reopen whenever they want to.

Being the present moment.

Very good short guided meditation. I found the soundscape very conducive to following the breath and staying focused. More great content from Charles! INSIGHT TIMER needs to simplify the process of leaving a tip. Too much effort required. If it required a few clicks tips would increase greatly.
