Thank you for joining me today.
Let's begin by closing our eyes and shifting our focus internally.
Breathing with the breath,
Intentionally extending the inhale and the exhale.
Feeling an awareness of the processes,
Thoughts,
And happenings inside of your body come to your awareness.
Paying attention to the things that you notice in your mind,
Your body,
And your spirit.
There are some days when we experience dis-ease in one of these three places.
Sometimes we know the reason,
And oftentimes we do not.
We can give ourselves the gift of tuning in and leaning in and allowing these discomforts to just simply be.
We are beings of nature.
We naturally cycle just like nature.
The harder we push against these natural cycles,
The more discomfort and disease we discover and experience.
Today as you breathe and tune in to your body,
Begin to notice the places of discomfort.
Maybe they're something you can label,
And maybe they're not.
Simply allowing them to be there and to be accepted can ease the way and ease your day.
So leaning in now to these places of disease,
Sending your breath to these locations,
Be that your mind or your body or your spirit.
Depending on your breath,
Extending the inhale and the exhale.
Allowing yourself to know that this too shall pass.
This cycle is not forever.
This cycle has a natural beginning and a natural end.
And your job right now in the middle of that cycle is to meet it with tenderness,
With kindness,
With acceptance.
And understand that it has its role in your life,
In your body's functioning.
And while you may not enjoy some parts of this cycle,
It's present.
There can be much freedom in the leaning in,
In the allowing,
In the recognition that you don't want to fight,
That you like to pass through the discomfort that comes with this cycle in a graceful,
Easeful,
Peaceful way.
Scanning through the body now.
Focusing places of discomfort.
Letting them know you see them,
You feel their suffering,
You know their discomfort.
And sending them some loving,
Healing breath.
Letting them know you're here with them.
You're in this too.
Good.
Thinking yourself for taking this time for you today.
Knowing that you can come here and be present with your discomfort anytime you need to.
Have a wonderful day.
