Breathing in and breathing out.
A moment to find a comfortable position for your body.
Bring your attention to your breath and allow it to enter your body.
Imagine that your breath can reach the painful places in your body and linger there,
Softening the hard edge of pain so that you can subsequently release some or all of the pain as you breathe out.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Softening,
Releasing.
And now imagining that a cool mountain waterfall is pouring through your body,
That the element of water is washing over any hot spots of pain,
Carrying the inflammation down and out through the bottoms of your feet.
Visualize the cells that respond to those inflammatory signals.
Visualize that those cells begin to slow down and return to a normal pattern of action.
Visualize them remaining quiet until they are truly needed to fight a specific illness.
Allow that inflammation to pour out of your body.
Allow your cells to feel balance and at ease.
And without that inflammation,
They are able to do their jobs more efficiently and on purpose.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Coming back to the breath in the body,
Feeling whatever it is that you're sitting or lying against,
Noticing how it feels to be here in this moment.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes and stretch and move in any way that feels right for you.
