Finding a comfortable posture.

Settling into a posture that helps you feel awake and stable and also comfortable.

Noticing the weight of your body in this posture against the surface that you're on.

So starting to bring your mind,

Bring your awareness into the present.

So starting to release your grip on thoughts,

On actions,

On worries and just releasing all of that and letting your mind settle into now.

Tuning in now to the breath.

So bringing an awareness to the sensations of breathing.

Maybe focusing on the feeling of your abdomen expanding and contracting with each cycle of breath.

So however you do it,

Just observing what it's like to breathe in each moment.

Opening to the full rich experience of breathing.

Really knowing what breathing is like.

Now expanding that awareness to include the body as a whole.

So knowing what it's like to be in this body from one moment to the next.

Knowing what it's like to feel this body breathing from one moment to the next.

And wherever you find strong sensations,

Maybe tightness,

Tension or even pain,

Bringing that into the meditation.

So bringing your awareness to it,

Making space for it.

And knowing what that sensation is like from one moment to the next.

And expanding our awareness even further now to space.

So letting go of focusing on the body or the breath and just simply being aware of awareness itself.

So knowing what it's like to be aware from one moment to the next.

Noticing what arises within this awareness with an openness.

Just letting it pass through.

Knowing the difference between the contents of your awareness and awareness itself.

Perhaps sensing that the nature of awareness,

The nature of the mind is clarity.

Is openness.

Is spacious.

Is spaciousness.

Knowing what that's like on an intimate level from one moment to the next.

Again,

The contents of your awareness is different from your awareness itself.

So letting whatever arises to pass through and simply witnessing both it and the space around it.

And ending this practice with an intention to infuse this clarity,

This openness.

The spaciousness.

Into your day.
