Let yourself be positively imprinted. It's so easy to get swept up in negative thoughts; this is part of our wiring. But every challenge is an opportunity, and this one is a signal to train our brains. By selecting a memory, a moment, a fact, or a thing, and consciously making it more meaningful and embodied, we can create a healthier emotional balance and make deep appreciation a habit. Take just 14 minutes. Build up your inner resources. Let something good expand you.

So find a comfortable posture,

Close your eyes and just settle into your present experience.

You might notice your breath and that movement in your body.

Or maybe it's more obvious to you other sensations in your body.

So just using the sensations that you can notice right now as it anchors into the present moment.

So just giving yourself permission to let go of your day,

Let go of your thoughts,

Let go of your plans and just be here.

Now we'll begin with step one.

I invite you to recall a positive experience.

It could be something happening right now,

Like a feeling of comfort and safety.

Or it could be a recent event or an ongoing fact.

So anything big or small that brings you a sense of gratitude.

Either in the past or something that you're experiencing now.

So just bring that to mind.

So once you've decided on your beneficial experience,

I'll just invite you to set an intention to let this fact,

This thing,

This experience to become an event that you can fully embody right now in your mind.

So step two,

We're going to stay with this experience.

Often the mind wants to wander off and do something else,

Think of something else,

But we're just going to stick with this experience.

So let's allow this experience to make a bigger impact on you.

So feel it with all of your senses.

What can you feel?

What can you see?

What can you see?

Embody the goodness.

Maybe there's a posture,

A gesture or a facial expression that just allows you to deepen into the experience.

If you become distracted that's absolutely fine.

Just bring your attention back to this beneficial experience that you're reliving and enriching.

So engaging the senses.

Embodying the experience.

Notice your emotional state too.

What makes this experience so delightful for you personally?

What's new that you didn't notice before?

So now we've gathered a range of rich imagery,

Feelings,

And emotions.

It's time for stage three which is to absorb it all.

Sense that this positive experience is sinking deep into you,

Into your cells.

Softening and strengthening you at the same time.

How does it feel to really take it in?

Head to toe.

Inside to outside.

Then expanding who you are.

Now consider for a moment in which situations or challenges might this feeling,

This experience be helpful to recall?

See if it feels okay to hold the two,

This positive experience and this tricky situation,

Holding the two in awareness.

Take a few deep breaths.

Coming back into your body,

Back into this moment.

Setting an intention to regularly shift back into that positive space.

To really notice what good there is to notice as you go about your day.

When you're ready slowly open your eyes.
