
Visualization Meditation For Resetting Health Practice

In today's meditation with Catherine Tanaka, you will work through a process of letting go of health practices that have been keeping you stuck. The intention of this visualization is to access where and what has kept you stuck in your fitness and health practices and welcome in those who support and serve you. As a fitness and mindset coach, we know too well how we often abandon our ambitions, impacting our self-confidence. You are capable of recalibrating where you are right now and stepping into the energy of where you are going.

Today we're gonna start with a visualization that I really would like you to anchor into.
Anchor it into your body and anchor it into your mind.
Finding a quiet space to sit so that you can just be present for a moment.
Closing your eyes or finding a light gaze in front of you.
I want you to take a deep breath in,
Breathing into your belly and exhaling through your nose.
Deep breath in through your belly,
Exhaling through your nose.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowing it down for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Holding it here and exhaling for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Do it again.
Deep breath in through your nose for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Holding it here,
Exhaling for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Bringing your breath back to normal and I want you to bring your attention to your mind's eye.
Now this can be done at any facet of your time in the program or any point that this might serve you and I want you to look at the last month maybe two of your health practices.
Whether it is your workouts,
Whether it is your steps,
Whether it is just your mindset of being all-in,
Maybe committed,
Maybe not as committed.
Could be your nutrition,
Could be the discipline,
It could be your consistency.
And just take a look at how all those pieces have been in alignment or perhaps out of alignment.
And I want you to imagine these pieces from the last month or two,
Almost like you can encapsulate them in these little clear glass balls.
And I want you to categorically put these little spheres in front of you.
The ball holding,
Your nutrition practices,
Looking at the consistency and the discipline that you've learned over the last little while.
A little sphere,
Glass sphere of your fitness practices that you can kind of see how consistent have I been.
What is the practice of showing up for myself and my workouts been like.
And then a little sphere of your steps,
Those activities outside of just the workouts or outside of your busy day.
What has that looked like?
And then a little sphere of your mindset.
How has your commitment been during this time?
How have you been cultivating your mindset of being all-in,
Of being dedicated to honoring your body as your vessel,
To honoring your word as law,
Of learning to clean up the integrity with yourself so you can learn to trust in yourself again.
And then creating a little sphere of your self-talk,
Different than mindset.
This is the engagement with ourselves.
Engagement with that version of yourself that maybe is the masculine energy in life that kind of keeps things in line.
The one who is the leader in your life,
In your organization,
In your business,
In your family.
That sphere that allows you to speak to yourself the way that you do and just observe.
How has that self-talk been the last month or two?
Are you learning to embrace who you are in these practices?
Learning to uphold your word but also learning to offer grace,
Compassion,
Love,
And recommitment.
And then create a little miscellaneous clear glass sphere holding whatever else is in the periphery for you.
Maybe it's your caffeine intake,
Maybe it's your hydration water intake,
Maybe it's your excuses,
Maybe it's the busyness of your everyday.
And I want you to just line up those little spheres for yourself and picture them in your mind's eye.
And one by one I want you to take that glass sphere and see how clear you can see the accounting from before today.
And I want you to put it out in front of you as though you're holding that sphere and offering it up.
Holding it in front of you,
I want you to see in your mind's eye this sphere just completely dissipating.
Almost like in a poof of white smoke.
Completely disappearing into thin air.
And I want you to let go of whatever angst might be associated with each of those fears.
Each sphere,
Whether it's the nutrition one,
Let go of the idea that maybe it wasn't done correct.
Let go of whatever did not feel completely in alignment with the fitness.
Let go of the mindset that perhaps didn't serve you completely.
Release in that poof,
That self-talk that maybe didn't serve you.
Release in that poof whatever stuckness has been associated with any time before now.
Let it go.
And now I want you to welcome in a new energy.
Who is that version of yourself that is in alignment with honoring the vessel that gets to carry around you?
This beautiful body that works so miraculously that gets to carry you around.
And yes,
There are things that we can do to support it being in alignment with optimal health.
And so I want you to welcome in that energy because you are the type of person who honors this vessel called the body.
You are the type of person who leads herself and can learn self-mastery.
And part of leadership and self-mastery is leading who you want to become and honoring those structures so that you can show up in your greatest light.
So now let's create a new narrative for this version of yourself you are stepping into.
Who is this version you are stepping into?
What does your optimal version look like in terms of nutrition practices?
Welcome in the mindfulness of nourishing your body.
And not nourishing just from the sense of making sure you get three meals a day and the protein,
The carbs,
And the fat.
But from a cellular level,
How are you nourishing those cells?
How are you optimizing the fuel required for your system to work well?
The balance of the good,
The cell nurturing components that really allow our system to thrive.
And how are you going to welcome in the practices that allow for continuous thriving?
And notice how your mindset perhaps might go to,
Well,
I don't want to give up sugar or alcohol or I deserve a treat.
Just notice the mindset that happens.
And then I want you to bring it back to what are the practices you can welcome in to allow greatness into your life.
And then I want you to welcome in the movement aspect.
Movement in the context of optimizing your health and this vehicle of your body is such an integral part.
And when we look at metabolic health,
Cellular health,
This component is a catalyst,
Is that quantum leap trajectory that allows for us to get there quicker,
Faster.
And so welcome in the fitness practices that we know evidence-based research shows will support our systems.
And create in your mind's eye,
What does that sphere of fitness look like for you?
And what can you uphold and honor for your vessel?
That is your body.
When are you going to put this into your life and honor it as an important aspect of your life?
Just as important as appointments are to our routine or business meetings are to our business.
How can you honor that?
And in that sphere or a separate sphere altogether,
How are you going to welcome in movement?
Not like we have to,
But that we get to move our bodies.
We get to move our glorious bodies,
These unbelievable machines,
These vessels that not only get us from point A to point B,
But really allow us to blossom and expand in this vortex of greatness of who we are,
Full of life and full of possibility.
How can you honor your vessel first as the champion to lead the rest of your life in?
Now bring your sphere forward for mindset.
Mindset,
As you know,
Is so integral to allowing you to show up for yourself,
To honor your word,
To be committed to you.
And notice your willingness to do it for others,
To do it when it counts,
To do it when we're being paid,
To do it for those around us we love.
And then notice where you might sell yourself short,
Where you can go all in for others,
But not always for yourself,
Where you can be fully committed for others,
But not necessarily for yourself.
I want you to notice how perhaps you welcome in excuses when something feels difficult or challenging or not as easy as we desire or think it should be.
And I want you to let go of whatever low energies are pulling you down,
That frequency that keeps you perhaps stuck in your mindset.
And I want you to welcome in the frequency of you are the type of person who can learn the practices,
Can do hard things,
Can do this differently this time.
Now I want you in your mind's eye to imagine all those spheres,
Nutrition,
Fitness,
Movement,
Mindset,
And hold those beautiful spheres in front of you.
And I want you to welcome a bright white light to fill up these glass orbs.
And I want you to see them just floating in front of you above your line of sight.
And I want you to invite the light to fill them up with all the intention that you have for each one of these facets.
And I want you to clearly see what each component requires you to do.
And in this moment,
As you see these burning orbs so bright with white pure light,
I want you to feel,
Feel that clarity and that confidence of knowing exactly what it is that you can do to allow these aspects to be inspired action,
To manifest into your life consistently,
Consistency,
And commitment to being here,
Showing up,
And practicing the facets that make a difference.
Taking a deep breath in,
Feeling into your body,
Into your cells,
How ignited they feel by the prospect of these orbs.
And one by one,
I want you to take that orb and place it on your heart,
Allowing the energy and the aura of that white orb to integrate with you from a cellular level,
From a frequency level,
From an energetic embodiment,
That that is who you are from a nutrition standpoint.
Taking the fitness orb and placing it on your heart and letting that integrate into your cells.
This is who you are.
Taking the mindset orb and placing it on your heart,
Letting all the powerful thought processes and practices integrate into every cell,
Embodying the mindset that is required to become masterful in self.
And as your cells are getting the download,
And as your cells are getting the upgrade,
And as your mind is tuning into this new energetic projection of who you are,
I want you to welcome it all in.
I want you to feel into it all.
Feel the buzzing in your skin,
In your cells,
In your frequency.
And I want you to hold on to that.
And after we come out of this short visualization,
I want you to write down the key components of this essence.
Take a deep breath in and out,
Breathing in and out,
Bringing some movement into those fingers and to those toes,
Wiggling those arms and those legs.
Take a deep breath in and out.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
