Allow yourself to get comfortable,
Sitting in a comfortable cross-legged position or lying down on your back,
Covering yourself with a blanket if you need,
Beginning to let your breath lengthen.
Just watching as the breath flows in and out,
Following each inhale and following each exhale.
Noticing by just watching your breath,
It naturally starts to lengthen.
Allow yourself to deepen into a longer inhale,
A longer exhale.
As you breathe,
Just take a moment to be in gratitude for this beautiful,
Natural,
Life-giving force that continues to flow in and out every moment.
Our breath often goes unrecognized,
But it's always there,
This steady flow,
Led by the beating of the heart.
Each inhale bringing in something new and fresh.
Each exhale just letting go of what is no longer serving us.
Now with your breath,
Come to bring your awareness to your heart center.
I'd like to deepen your awareness at this place in your body and come to bring your hands to touch the center of your chest.
For women,
Come to bring your left hand to the center of your chest first and the right hand on top of that.
And for men,
The opposite.
This hand position allows you to connect more intimately with the energy of your heart.
Leaving your hands here as long as you feel you need as we now come to connect the moment of time in your life where you felt complete and utter joy.
A moment in time you felt so happy.
That happiness just radiated through every cell of your body,
All the way into your face,
Making a smile almost impossible not to have.
And all the way down to the fingers and toes.
Just coming to connect to this time.
Aware of where you were.
Aware of who you're with.
Aware of what you're doing.
Aware of how it feels to be in this state of joy.
Allowing yourself to really hold this feeling of happiness and joy in your heart.
And now in this moment in time,
Allowing that to be a feeling that spreads throughout your whole body right now.
Allow yourself just to hold and embrace that beautiful elevated feeling of joy and let it radiate through your body here in this moment in time.
Breathing into this emotion,
This feeling,
This experience,
Having full permission to enjoy it.
From this feeling of joy and happiness,
I invite you now to come into your mind's eye and state three things that you feel grateful for right here,
Right now.
Beginning in your mind this sentence,

And what are those?
Now coming back to your breath,
Back to an awareness of your body.
Embracing an awareness of all that you're feeling right here and right now.
As you breathe,
Just let the corners of your mouth slowly rise up towards your eyes.
Ever so slightly smiling.
If you're lying down,
Come now to roll onto your right side,
Taking a couple breaths there.
Sitting tall,
Letting now your palms connect together in front of your heart center.
So palm touching palm in front of the center of your chest.
In front of the center of your chest.
And from this place here,
Just quietly in your mind stating the mantra,
I am.
Staying in this space as long as you need.
