Welcome to this 20-minute guided meditation to go into the day inspired to show up as your best.
We're going to start with a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth with a little sigh of relaxation.
And if you haven't already,
I invite you to bring your eyes closed.
I'm going to start to go inside for this journey ahead of us.
Keep your awareness on your breath and just follow that pattern for now.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Nice and smooth,
Without forcing it,
And a little sigh of exhalation,
Extending the exhale out a little bit further.
The extended exhale helps our body relax,
Slows down the mind,
Releases a little bit of the past,
A little bit of the tension.
For the first few minutes of this practice,
I'm going to invite you to just continue with that extended exhale,
Slowing things down,
And just receive my words.
And as you hear my guidance,
The practice today is to feel it,
To envision it,
To be it.
I'm going to give you words of inspiration for a great day today,
And the practice will be to continue with the breath,
Listening to the music and my words,
And allowing that to be your guide through this journey.
Today is going to be a special day.
Envision that.
What will that look like for you today?
Today will be a day of mental clarity.
What would that feel like?
Breathe in that mental clarity.
Breathe out stress,
Tension,
Anxiety.
Let it go.
Today is a new day.
Today you will feel inspired.
Feel that.
Practice that feeling.
What will that feel like today?
Keeping that breath smooth,
Consistent,
And feeling inspired.
What are you inspiring to move forward on today?
What is that inspiration for you?
What is the reason you're breathing?
When you're inspired,
You can do anything.
When you're inspired,
You become unstoppable.
You will find a way.
Imagine that.
Envision that.
Feel it.
Breathe in with that feeling of everything is great.
I'm inspired.
I'm making progress today.
Breathe in that feeling.
Relax into it with the exhale.
Start to even the breath out.
Count the inhale.
How many seconds does it take to get to the top of your breath?
Then you're going to match it with the exhale.
You're going to find that rhythm now for the next few minutes.
Even inhales and exhales.
Keeping that awareness on the breath.
Listening to my voice and letting the music take you away from the day for just a moment.
That consistent breath,
That even breath,
Balances out your nervous system.
Bringing you into harmony.
So you can carry that harmony with you through the day.
You won't feel overly stressed or overwhelmed.
You won't feel anxious.
You'll feel calm but alert.
Relaxed and at the same time energized.
Imagine that.
Feel it.
Envision it.
And breathe it.
Feel inspired.
Relaxed knowing everything to this point is fine,
Is perfect.
And energized knowing the future is bright.
And being present in the moment,
In between.
In between the past and the future.
Today.
For today is what really matters.
Today is the day you take a step forward.
It's all there is.
All there is is today.
Envision today.
Envision those steps that you will take.
Envision the healthier decisions.
Feel the happiness that you will have throughout the day.
Feel the gratitude.
Because as long as you have the day today,
You have the chance to build a brighter future.
And this is the secret to a long,
Healthy,
And happy life.
Being grateful for the day.
And taking a small step forward.
Making healthier decisions.
And choosing happiness.
Envision that.
Feel it.
And breathe it.
Bringing that awareness back to the breath.
And connecting that breath with the breath that you will breathe later in the day.
When you feel better.
When you feel healthy.
When you feel happy.
Breathe that in.
You'll breathe a little easier.
You'll appreciate the breath a little bit more.
Taking that breath of happiness.
Practice that happy breath.
The breath you're going to take when you feel happy.
When you feel good about yourself.
When you're in the middle of a good day.
That breath that you take a look around you.
You pause for just a moment to just appreciate.
Life.
And appreciate the day.
For if you can envision it,
And if you can practice that feeling now,
You're much more likely to have that moment today.
Breathe in a little bit deeper.
Feel a little bit deeper.
As you imagine that good day today.
The mental clarity.
The gratitude.
The feeling of health and happiness.
Being happy with yourself.
What would that feel like today when you take that moment to appreciate yourself?
Breathe it in.
Connect with that feeling.
Create that feeling.
Know that at some point in the day today,
This will become real.
Imagine it as if it's already happening.
Imagine it as if it's happening right now.
Feel it.
Bring that awareness back to the breath.
Let go of the future and come back to the present.
And then gratitude in this moment.
For this very practice has been a step forward in your journey.
Today.
And in your life.
Small step towards becoming a healthier,
Happier you.
And creating a brighter future.
Not just for yourself.
But for those that will be inspired by your story.
We all have a story to tell.
You have a story to tell.
But in this moment,
That story is still being written.
And today,
You continue writing that.
How will your story turn out?
That's up to you.
The decisions that you make today.
The choices you make today.
Will help determine that.
As you carry that inspiration with you.
You begin to become more present.
Returning to the physical sensations of the body.
Beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Maintaining that inspiration.
For that is real and it lies inside of you.
And I hope you carry that with you into the day ahead.
As you live the day that you just imagined.
