So today we'll do an inner exploration of the Paramitas.
So we'll just begin by just getting comfortable on the cushion or the chair,
Allowing the back to be straight but not stiff,
Letting the arms and shoulders kind of hang down loosely.
Just kind of exhaling,
Allowing things to just loosen up.
Letting the eyes close gently,
Letting the breath be natural.
Maybe consider the mindset that you get to do this,
That you have offered yourself the gift of stillness in this moment.
So during this practice,
We'll go through the Paramis.
The idea is to just consider each particular one and just notice what arises,
Thoughts,
Physical sensations,
Whatever it may be.
We don't need to figure it out,
We don't necessarily need to investigate,
But just simply notice what arises for you.
You may notice how one flows into another.
We'll begin with Dana,
Dana Parami,

Panya Parami,

And if the mind wanders,
We notice it,
And with kindness,
Non-judgment,
We just lay down the thoughts that have arisen and just return to the practice.
The next is Virya Parami,
Energy,
Diligence,
Vigor,
Right effort,
Persistence,
The persevere.
Virya,

Kanti Parami,

Now let what has arisen for you wash over you.
Allow what stays to stay and what naturally fades to fade.
And then turn your attention to the breath for the last few moments.
