To open is to be exposed or vulnerable.
To open is to unfold or be unfolded and spread out.
This meditation is an active practice of taking up space.
It's time to open up,
To open up the capacity of our lungs and to open up to the potential of our unfolding.
It's time to make space for the you that wants to emerge and be held.
Sit tall.
Let go across your face as we envision what opening looks and feels like.
Take a cleansing breath.
Every time you choose to open to your breath and eventually to a greater vision,
You strip away all that has kept you closed.
You can be you.
You can be all that you are.
Become aware now of the vitality in your being.
Remain easeful in your belly.
In this place,
There is no more tension,
No hardness,
No questioning.
Just you.
Just this breath.
As you inhale,
Imagine taking energy into your lungs,
Your vessel,
And stretch your skin wider and bigger with this energy.
As you exhale,
Feel relief.
Inhale to take in energy.
Exhale and feel relief.
Screen grids as skip experiences Breathe and sense your capacity to open.
Breathe and make space.
Can you open to all that you are?
Into every breath.
Breathe and make space.
Stay open to you.
Stay open to your breath.
Feel it all.
Don't move away at all.
There's space.
You can be you.
You can simply feel the space in every breath.
To open is to be exposed or vulnerable.
To open is to unfold or be unfolded and spread out.
Now check in with yourself.
Where do you feel space?
How has this permission and this breath penetrated you?
Are there any messages of how you will unfold or how you want to unfold?
Start repeating silently to yourself,
I'm making space for.
And insert your own words,
Whatever feels right and true for you.
I am making space for.
I am making space for.
I am making space for.
I am making space for.
Now take a nice cleansing breath.
And remember that every time you choose to open to your breath and eventually to a greater vision,
You strip away all that has kept you closed.
Take up space.
There is so much space for you to feel for you to be and for you to become.
Perhaps place a palm on your upper chest.
Thank yourself for this deep work of opening.
Thank all the teachers that you have who support you along this path.
