Welcome to this tender practice for your dear body.

This vessel,

This home you inhabit,

Waiting for your love and for your breath.

This beautiful home of your body is where you belong.

It has so much to teach and reflect to us.

Adjust and make yourself comfortable.

Long,

Strong spine.

Skin soft.

Heart receptive.

Breath anchoring you.

Breathe fully into your entire being.

Sense your entire body and the shape it is in.

Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.

Keep redirecting your focus to your body and to your breath.

Feel the full weight of your body.

Let go into this earth.

Let go into this earth.

This beautiful home of your body is where you belong.

It has so much to teach,

Show and reflect to us.

I ask you now to reflect upon one way that you get down on your body.

How do you condemn your body?

How do you remain separate from your own love?

There might be a specific area of your body that you feel the battle against.

Perhaps place a palm on this place and send some gentle breaths there.

Feel the warmth of your own hand and the nurturing quality of your own touch.

We often seek to control what we can and protect what we can.

We manipulate or we battle against our bodies,

Which only attracts more pain around us and eventually within.

But healing is here through listening to the pain.

Reconnection is possible.

This body wants to be your ally,

Your friend,

To be your vessel towards truth and liberation.

This body wants to be your ally,

Your friend,

To be your vessel towards truth and liberation.

Breathe yourself more open,

More spacious.

No matter how achy,

Depleted,

Or disconnected,

No matter how achy,

Depleted,

No matter how achy,

Depleted,

Or disconnected,

Your body has been waiting to be your friend and to help you heal and to be healed.

You might now tether your awareness to the words,

I accept,

Or I forgive,

Or I belong,

Or I'm relaxing.

Whisper whatever words feel soothing and healing to every inch of your being.

I accept.

I forgive.

I belong.

I accept.

Can you feel your body thanking you for this practice of acknowledging,

This practice of belonging?

Can you hear your body rejoice when you honor the healing that is here now?

Can you feel the unraveling when you remember that you belong exactly as you are right now?

Please give thanks to this body.

It is your ally and your dearest,

Greatest relationship.

A sweet thank you.

This beautiful home of your body is where you belong.

It has so much to teach,

Show,

And reflect to us.

There is much to learn in this place.

Now take time to come back to this space you're in,

Hearing the sounds around you,

A deep,

Full breath.

Perhaps commit to a bit of journaling at some point later around what's healing physically or emotionally within your body.

Or commit to a little bit of movement to release what feels stuck in the body.

There are many paths to healing,

Many paths to reconnecting with the wisdom that is within.

There are many paths to love.

Iโ€™ve revisited this meditation a few times this last year when coping with various ailments. It helps me reconnect back to my body, letting me accept my path for healing (even if itโ€™s one more resisting). Thank you for sharing these beautifully guiding words. โค๏ธ

Thank you so much for this meditation. I have fibromyalgia and ra and I have been living with it 2 years now. I used to say suffering from it, but I need to regain control. I've been trying to reconnect with my body and not considerate only a vessel of pain. As she said our body is our best Ally. This was a great meditation with great reminders and great suggestions. Is going in my fibro playlist again thank you so much for sharing this it really resonated for me Namaste ๐Ÿ™
