Waiting for your love and for your breath.
This beautiful home of your body is where you belong.
It has so much to teach and reflect to us.
Adjust and make yourself comfortable.

Skin soft.
Heart receptive.
Breath anchoring you.
Breathe fully into your entire being.
Sense your entire body and the shape it is in.
Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.
Keep redirecting your focus to your body and to your breath.
Feel the full weight of your body.
Let go into this earth.

This beautiful home of your body is where you belong.
It has so much to teach,
Show and reflect to us.
I ask you now to reflect upon one way that you get down on your body.
How do you condemn your body?
How do you remain separate from your own love?
There might be a specific area of your body that you feel the battle against.
Perhaps place a palm on this place and send some gentle breaths there.
Feel the warmth of your own hand and the nurturing quality of your own touch.

We often seek to control what we can and protect what we can.
We manipulate or we battle against our bodies,
Which only attracts more pain around us and eventually within.
But healing is here through listening to the pain.
Reconnection is possible.
This body wants to be your ally,
Your friend,
To be your vessel towards truth and liberation.
