This meditation is for women working towards conception. You will travel inside your body with a chance to marvel at all that is you and the systems working with you. You will pause at different organs ultimately spending time and gratitude with your reproductive organs. This is also a chance to offer love and to hear wisdom from this place within yourself. Carissa has a fertility practice helping women conceive, and she hopes this time with you is of support.

Welcome,

This is Carissa,

And I'm really happy and honored to be spending this time with you today.

We'll be going on a journey and that journey is inside your body,

Pretty miraculous place to travel to.

I'm happy to be your tour guide today.

It's important to be comfortable.

It's important because the more your body can relax,

The more your mind can open to take this journey to go on this traveling adventure.

It's also important because you are so deserving of pause and rest and comfort and the things that feel good to you,

Especially in your fertility journey.

Let's take this first moment to really honor what your body needs.

Does it need warmth?

Does it need softness?

Does it need a little bit of weight on your eyes with an eye pillow?

Does it need your beloved pet near you?

Take a moment.

If you realize,

Ah,

Yes,

There's something that really calls to me and I would feel most nurtured if I get up and get that,

Go ahead and hit the pause button and then just rejoin us.

Let's take the first few cycles of breath here,

Beginning to settle.

Settle into what is holding and supporting your body.

Is it a bed,

A couch,

A floor,

Chair,

The earth?

Beginning to notice the points of contact.

Where is your body touching the chair,

The chair back,

The sofa,

The bed,

And so on?

Take your time to notice.

It's a way to ground down more towards the energy of earth and pause.

And when you feel comfortable and you begin to feel settled,

Remember that all of our practices are dynamic and alive.

That means that your body may need something different.

Shifting,

Moving,

Responding to your needs is a welcome practice.

Take a sigh out if you need,

Or a deeper breath.

And I'll invite you now to find your way inside your body.

That might mean imagining swallowing a pill and you're a little miniature version of yourself in that pill.

Maybe imagining yourself on a microscopic helicopter or plane and you're gonna fly inside.

So I'll invite you to imagine going inside and you're gonna imagine that you go inside by way of your mouth so that you find yourself at the top of your body.

So I'll give you a few cycles of breath here to imagine that journey inward and the arriving to the inside of your body.

And now that you're inside your body,

Let's take a moment to marvel,

To have a sense of wonder and awe.

What do you see,

What do you hear,

What do you sense,

What do you feel?

You're inside this incredible,

Complex systems all working together.

Working together to support you in your life,

To support your fertility journey,

And certainly there are times where we don't feel connected to our bodies,

We don't feel that they are miraculous systems working in harmony.

And so we can just take this time to remember that that is true as well.

That there are times we don't feel that connection and yet still here is this miraculous body.

Here it is,

Still,

Breathing,

Pumping blood,

Digesting food,

Digesting thoughts,

Digesting life experiences.

Let's take a bit of a journey now and we're gonna find our way through a few parts of the body that we're gonna pause at and I'll invite you to imagine that you're swimming or on your microscopic helicopter or plane or walking,

Just visualize how you'd most like to journey through your body and we're gonna stop first at your lungs.

Life giving lungs,

Breathing,

Life force,

Vitality,

Energy,

Expansion.

Stopping at your lungs,

Let's take a few cycles of breath.

Let's you hear,

See,

Notice,

And when you're ready,

Let's take a few cycles of breath just to honor your lungs and the beauty of the work that they're doing for you.

Maybe imagining yourself in a gentle bow or words that you give to your lungs to express gratitude or appreciation.

There's no one way in our practice,

There's your way.

So honoring your lungs in the way that you'd most like to.

If there's something you'd like to tell your lungs or perhaps maybe your lungs have something to tell you,

Listening or offering a final nod of appreciation and then we'll journey again,

Journeying over now to your heart,

This beautiful,

Powerful organ pumping blood,

Giving life again and energetically,

Container and space for love,

For every bit of love that has come into your life,

Even the love that came before this life that lives within you,

The love that's currently in your life,

The friends,

The companionship,

The partnership,

As well as the love that will come to you,

New friends,

Made new connections.

Energetically,

It is held all here.

So let's take a moment first just to notice.

Do you see,

Hear,

Sense?

Sense.

And a few cycles of breath for offering your gratitude for the incredible work of this organ,

Energetics of this organ.

Again,

Perhaps there's a message you'd like to offer to the space within your body.

Maybe there's something that your heart wants you to know.

So a pause to offer or receive.

Final nod,

A final bow,

Perhaps of gratitude.

Now let's journey again.

Let's journey downward towards digestion.

Any area of your digestion that you'd like to stop at or stop among,

Intestines and stomach and so on.

What an incredible system.

Again,

We digest our nutrients.

We ask the system to take in and assimilate what we need,

To let go of what we don't.

Taking in not just only nutrition,

Also taking in our life experiences.

We digest and assimilate all that we think,

All that we experience.

Again,

Asking the system to take in what we need and to release what we don't.

A few cycles of breath here to notice.

Do you see?

Do you see?

Sense what you hear.

A few cycles of breath to offer appreciation.

Gratitude.

And again,

Is there something you'd like to tell this part of your body?

Is there something that your digestion wants you to know?

Offering or receiving.

The final bow of gratitude or appreciation.

And now we'll journey.

We're going to journey into your pelvis.

Focusing on reproductive organs.

Again,

This incredible system working with you.

To prepare you for pregnancy.

Perhaps you're in a place of trying to conceive naturally,

Or with assisted reproductive technologies.

Perhaps this moment in time,

You're getting ready to ovulate,

Or maybe you're preparing for surgery.

Wherever you find yourself in this moment,

You can travel down into this beautiful space within yourself.

And first notice what you see,

Hear,

Or sense.

Maybe you have ovaries.

Maybe you don't.

Maybe you have your fallopian tubes.

Maybe you don't.

Whether the organs are there or not,

The energy is there.

What do you notice?

Let's offer gratitude or appreciation.

First for the system at large.

Ovaries,

Tubes,

And uterus,

And hormones.

And now let's get a bit more connected.

First to ovaries.

Whether you have one,

Or both,

Or none.

Whether we're working with the energy of those organs.

Let's take a moment to pay deep gratitude.

Maybe you're in a place of stimming for an IVF cycle.

Perhaps the wonder of the follicles being produced and created and made.

Wherever you find yourself,

Sending your light,

Your love,

Your intention,

Right to these organs,

Or the energetics of the ovaries.

What message of love do you have for your ovaries?

This is the time to give that love and message.

What do your ovaries want you to know?

Let's travel to your uterus.

This incredible organ that will expand so much.

Dropping down now into this space,

Sending your love,

Your light,

This incredible nest.

That in this very moment is on its journey.

It is preparing.

It is preparing for what is to come.

And so taking time to send love and intention.

What message do you have for your uterus?

And what does your uterus want you to know?

Imagine that you can take all of the love that lives in this world,

All of the light,

All of the light,

All of the expansive manifesting energy.

You can harness it in this moment and pour this in to your pelvis,

Into your ovaries,

In to your uterus,

Giving incredible love and light and appreciation.

Perhaps this compassionate reminder to this deep loving place within your body,

To this area you can say,

I love you and I'm listening.

We'll continue to send you love and light.

We'll continue to listen to your wisdom.

Taking any final bow of gratitude or final connection.

Remembering that you can come back to this place within yourself at any time.

You can journey through the body,

Pausing along the way,

Or moving right to this space.

Giving message,

Giving kindness,

Giving love,

As well as listening,

Receiving wisdom.

Let's take a few deep breaths together.

Reconnecting to your physical body in this moment,

Noticing again what parts of your body are you to the furniture that's holding you.

Let's place a hand on your belly or heart,

Or maybe giving yourself a hug.

Is there a final message of compassion and kindness that you can offer to yourself right now?

Repeating this message as often as you need.

Remembering that you are not alone on your human journey.

You are not alone on your fertility journey.

You are not alone on your spiritual journey.

Remembering that you are not alone on your human journey.

You are not alone on your fertility journey.

Let's remember that by breathing together.

Together,

We breathe in.

Together,

We breathe out.
