Tapping into Your Inner Wisdom. This guided meditation is a journey that will help you harness the guidance system within you, comprising not just the mind but also the heart and gut. We often find ourselves seeking answers, clarity, and direction in life. However, often, we tend to rely solely on our thinking mind, but there's more to it. Our heart and gut also hold incredible wisdom, each offering unique insights and guidance, hence why some call it the three brains. When seeking clarity on something in life, It is incredibly helpful to tune into all three brains and explore the interconnectedness of these three centers of intelligence—the mind, heart, and gut. By aligning and listening to all three, you can access a wellspring of intuitive wisdom that often lies dormant within.

Hi and welcome to this meditation for engaging your three brains.

Sometimes when there's something we would like to work out or get answers on,

We stay in the ever-thinking mind trying to work it out.

But instead what we can do is engage the three brains,

Your thinking mind and your feeling mind in the heart space and that God feeling in the belly.

That's the journey we're going to go on today as we get quiet and go within.

So get comfortable.

Go ahead and close your eyes when you're ready and take a deep breath all the way down into your belly.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth to start.

Just centering yourself here now.

Allowing for thoughts to flow in and out of your mind throughout this journey.

Let's do a couple more.

Deep breath in,

Exhale,

Letting go.

Just feeling the shoulders drop.

Letting the body relax.

And then when you're ready,

Allowing the breath to flow in and out of the nose throughout this journey.

Allowing each in-breath to guide you deeper and deeper into relaxation.

As if when you breathe in,

You're feeling that calmness,

That air throughout the entire body.

Calming and relaxing your body.

Then I want you to bring to mind that question or that thing or situation in your mind that you've been trying to work out,

That you've been trying to gain clarity on.

And you can actually go ahead and move your hands and place them on top of your head if you want or you can just imagine that you're tuning into your thinking brain now first.

As you ask yourself,

How am I thinking or what am I thinking about this situation here that I'm wanting to gain clarity on?

And then just spend some time here just observing.

How is your thinking brain guiding you?

What are you aware of here?

What are your concerns perhaps?

What clarity is here,

If any?

And then you can go ahead and shift down to the feeling brain.

In the middle of your chest,

The heart space here,

The heart chakra.

You can place your hands on your chest if you feel that that's appropriate to you.

Or just imagine tuning in to the feeling brain.

As you ask yourself,

How am I feeling about this situation?

Or how are my feelings guiding me here?

How am I feeling about this?

Listening,

Feeling,

Allowing.

Remembering that our feelings are guiding us whether they are comfortable or uncomfortable.

Just noticing what is present here in your feeling brain guiding you towards clarity.

Sit for a moment and keep asking,

What am I feeling here about this situation that I am wanting to gain clarity on?

I'll give you some space.

And then when you're ready,

Moving your hands down to the belly,

Placing them over the belly as you breathe in and connect to the gut feeling,

The third brain here.

What is my gut feeling about this situation?

And you can notice whether it's feeling light or heavy as you think about the different outcomes.

Notice what outcome feels like flow.

And what outcome feels more stagnant or like being stuck.

Leaning into what feels like flow to gain further clarity here.

What is my gut feeling saying?

And then notice,

Is this gut feeling based on taking the decision from love or fear?

Just listening,

Feeling,

Noticing.

And you can relax your hands back down if you were following along on the body or if you had your hands in your lap the whole time,

That's perfectly fine too.

I want you to now notice,

Are the three brains in agreement?

Or do they differ?

Are you thinking one thing,

Feeling another?

And is the gut feeling saying something completely different?

After this meditation,

You might want to just write that down.

Or you may notice now that there's agreement between two of the brains or all three.

There's no right and wrong here,

You're just observing so that you can gain clarity on that one thing that was on your mind today.

Asking yourself,

What was the most helpful thing you learned from your thinking brain about this situation today?

What did your feeling brain teach you?

And what is your gut feeling saying?

And just sit in stillness for a moment here,

Letting everything settle so that in a moment you can come back to the space you're in with a little more clarity.

When you're ready,

You can go ahead and take a deep breath in,

Sealing this practice.

And slowly and in your own time,

Come back to the space you're in and open your eyes and go ahead and take any notes in your journal that you found helpful from the practice today.

Thank you for meditating with me today.

Good meditation. My 3 brains were in alignment. I had never thought to do it this way. This meditation I will definitely come back to.
