Transcript

Sitting in a cross-legged position with your hands resting on your knees,

Gently rock your body forward and back,

Then sway from side to side.

Finally come to stillness,

Grounding down through your right sit bone and your left sit bone,

Tail slightly tucked,

Creating a stable,

Balanced base in the pelvis,

Connecting you to the earth.

See a five-pointed golden star in each sit bone and sense a horizontal beam of golden light connecting the stars to one another.

From this stable foundation,

The spine rises up,

Chin is slightly tucked,

Crown of the head extends upward.

Visualize a third five-pointed star at the crown of your head.

Sense two beams of golden light extending from the stars on the left and right of your sit bone,

Meeting at the star at the crown of the head,

Forming a complete triangle,

Stable,

Secure,

Steady.

Begin to inhale and exhale slowly through the nose,

Developing the breadth and depth of your breath.

The central channel of the spine is open and clear.

Sense the energy,

Both anchored to the earth and descending to the heavens.

Continue inhaling and exhaling slowly,

Consciously,

In and out through the nose.

Bend the right elbow,

Place the index and middle finger on the forehead just between the eyebrows,

Keeping the thumb,

Ring finger,

And pinky finger extended.

Keeping the index and middle fingers anchored on the forehead,

Block the right nostril with the thumb where the soft cartilage ends at the top of the cavity of the nostril.

Inhale through the left nostril,

Block the left nostril with the ring finger,

And breathe out through the right nostril.

Inhale through the right nostril,

Block the right with the thumb,

Exhale through the left nostril.

Inhale through the left nostril,

Block the left nostril,

Exhale through the right nostril.

Inhale through the right,

Block the right.

Inhale through the left,

Inhale through the left,

Block the left,

Exhale through the right.

As you continue breathing in this pattern,

Sense the breath moving up through the right nostril,

Traveling through the nasal cavity to the point between the eyebrows,

And then descending down through the left sinus on exhale.

The pattern of your breath forms a triangle.

Nostrils,

Nasal cavity,

Point between the eyebrows,

Left nostril,

Left nasal cavity,

Brow,

Right nasal cavity,

Right nostril.

Right nostril,

Right nasal cavity,

Brow,

Left nasal cavity,

Left nostril.

Continue for a few more cycles,

Balancing the brain and harmonizing the nervous system.

Complete one final round,

And then relax the breath into a natural rhythm,

Returning your right hand to rest on your knee.

When you're ready,

Revisit the stars in your left and right sit bones and the crown of your head,

Connected by three beams of golden light,

Embodying an alignment of the trinity of body,

Mind,

And spirit,

An integrated intersection of inspiration,

Intuition,

Information,

Steadiness,

Stability,

Strength,

Calm,

Clarity,

And poise.

The coldness,

Beautifully balanced.

Bring the palms of your hands together in prayer position at the crown of your head.

Repeat mentally,

May I be open to inspiration.

Move your hands to the third eye.

May I see clearly.

Move the hands to the lips.

May I be impeccable with my word.

Move the hands to the heart.

May my heart be as wide as the world.

Move the hands to the navel.

Only I know that I am enough.

Namaste,

Peace,

Love,

And light.

Namaste,

Peace,

Love,

And light.

Beautifully led ,well balanced. I've done this type of breathing previously, both utilizing hands to close as this does, and using just visualization and focus. Either way it is effective. I did also like the closing with the prayer hands. Overall a very effective day starter

I almost didn’t do this one because it didn’t say it had background music, but it does and I’m so glad I did! Such a balancing and connecting visual meditation that was the perfect way to start my morning
