Hi,

Welcome to the first exercise of your Interceptive program.

We are very happy to have you here with us.

As we said before,

The goal of this practice is to allow you to have a better perspective of your own mental and bodily feelings as well as your emotions,

So that you can extend this practice to enhance your performance and even improve your life in general.

Remember,

Be gentle with yourself.

Do not expect to reach any type of mental state during this practice.

In fact,

Leave your expectations aside.

This is the first and one of the main important lessons here.

Clinging too much to your emotions,

Desires and feelings will lead you to suffer more than you may need to find your optimal level of performance.

It is time to work smart and strategically.

So let's start.

Find a peaceful and comfortable space to sit for the next few minutes.

Don't worry much about your body positioning for now.

You can sit with your legs crossed or you can just sit on a chair with your palms gently sitting on your lap.

Just make sure you have your back straight but not too tight and your head is leaning a little bit forward.

Start with your eyes open,

Looking ahead with a soft gaze,

Being aware of your surroundings but not focused on anything in particular.

It's all a matter of finding balance.

Not too much,

Not too little.

Now take a deep breath,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Through the muscles in your face,

Relaxing.

And with the next breath,

Let your eyes close gently.

Now closing your mouth,

Let your breath flow naturally through your nose.

Feel the air touching your nostrils.

Breathing softly,

Coming out warm.

Focus on this feeling for now.

Just feel your breath.

Great.

Ful.

Now,

Expand your awareness and start to feel your body.

Start to scan your body going from your head to your toes.

Feel which parts are tense and which parts are relaxed.

No need to take any action.

Just feel your body.

Finally,

Expand your awareness to your emotions infinitely.

What emotions are rising now?

Feel them.

Once again,

No need to take any action.

Just be aware of your emotions.

Be the observer of your emotions.

Just be aware of your emotions.

Now,

With the next breath,

Get back to sensing the sounds around you.

Feel the air touching your skin.

Breathing through your nose.

And now breathe out again through your mouth.

Feel the sounds around you more clear and the sensations coming back.

Breathing in and out.

And again with the next breath,

Open your eyes gently.

So,

How do you feel?

Are you feeling relaxed?

Focus on this feeling and try to take it with you everywhere.

With time and practice,

This feeling will stay with you for longer periods and you will be able to apply to enhance your performance and to have a better quality of life.

You can repeat this exercise as many times as you want,

But I suggest you to do it for the next seven days.

Make sure you fill your report so that you can trace your development during this activity.

See you soon,

Bye bye.
