Welcome to this yoga nidra practice.

My name is Brittany Lyons and I am so honored to channel through the heart and voice to guide this practice.

I invite you to lie down on your back to rest or position yourself in a way that supports your body and your healing for today.

A pillow for the head and the backs of the knees and a blanket to nestle you into the sacred space.

Locate your nest and tune into how you feel.

Allow the eyes gently to your heart as a gesture of acknowledging this commitment and celebration of practice and of life.

When you are ready,

Close your eyes and breathe in a way that moves you into stillness.

Exhale or roar or sigh to release.

Breathe into the subtlety and potency of this present moment and simply be with yourself.

Everything begins in the dark.

The vast sky view above you.

Spacious and beautiful in its artful offering of interconnectedness and brilliance.

See a cluster of stars sparkling.

Place this cluster of stars in the space between your eyebrows.

Allow these sparkles of light to soften the space and pour into the center of your head,

The practice of yoga nidra begins now.

Direct the brightest star to the midbrain at the level of the ears right at the pineal gland.

On this bright star,

An activation of brilliance,

Intelligence,

A portal.

Guide this star to the center of the throat and illuminate the throat.

Feel sides in your awareness.

As you feel your exhale come,

Let the star fall down into your heart.

Fear in your heart.

Revive your sankalpa that you work with,

Your sacred vow.

Or you may choose an intention to refine,

To seed.

One example may be,

I am creative.

Repeat your sankalpa or your sacred intention to yourself three times with clarity and feel it fully come alive in all your cells,

In your whole body.

Shine the heart's light up to the pineal gland and notice how that feels.

Make the pathway from your beloved heart as you guide the star back up to the pineal gland.

The cluster of stars brighten and move up to the crown of the head and about a foot above the top of the head.

Can you allow or give permission to this opening to grace,

To the sacred connection with cosmic intelligence?

When you are ready,

Cascade the star clusters all around the body in a circular shape,

All around the body,

Creating an invisible energetic protection for you to open and be held,

Be free in your body.

One of the stars chooses you.

See this star bright.

Slide this star to the right big toe.

Focus all of your attention on the right big toe.

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe and fifth toe.

Top of the foot,

Sole of the foot,

The heel,

The right ankle,

The shin,

The right calf,

The whole right knee,

Thigh,

Hamstring,

Right hip,

Right buttock,

Pelvis,

Right side of the waist and rib cage,

The right armpit and lymph nodes,

Right elbow,

Forearm,

Wrist,

Right thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Fourth finger,

Small finger.

Feel the whole right hand illuminate awareness of the right arm to the right shoulder.

Feel the whole right side of the body,

The whole right side of the body.

Slide this star to the left big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Fifth toe,

Top of the foot,

Sole of the foot,

The left heel,

The left ankle,

Left shin,

Left calf,

Thigh,

Hamstrings,

Left hip,

Left buttock,

Pelvis,

Left side of the waist and rib cage,

Left armpit and lymph nodes,

Left elbow,

Forearm,

Wrist,

Left thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Fourth finger,

Small finger.

Feel the whole left hand and track awareness of the whole left arm,

The left shoulder.

Feel the whole left side of the body,

The whole left side of the body,

Center of the throat,

Feel the star,

The center of the throat,

The whole circumference of the neck and throat,

The jaw,

The chin,

The lips.

Feel the shape of your mouth,

The right cheek,

The left cheek and both cheeks together,

The tip of your nose,

Left nostril,

Right nostril,

The whole nose,

Right eye,

Left eye,

The third eye between the brows,

The whole forehead,

The tips of your ears,

The earlobes,

The whole left ear,

The whole right ear,

The top of the head,

The back of the skull,

The whole face,

The whole face,

The spine.

Follow the spine down all the way to the base and back up.

Find awareness on the whole spine,

Down and up.

Pause in the space between the shoulder blades.

Feel into a subtle pulsation like the gentle paws of a cat or hands that you trust.

The energies of Mother Earth,

Can you sense your heart beating?

This life force energy.

Can you open your heart to this divine love here?

When you are ready,

Can you open the doorway to your heart?

Let it rest.

Love to stay aware.

Inside the deepest,

Most intimate space of your heart,

Rest.

Be with yourself.

In both directions at once,

Shine the light of your heart up to the throat and down to the solar plexus,

The upper abdomen and up to the pineal gland and the navel center below the belly button.

Shine the light of the heart up to the crown of the head and down to your root chakra,

The perineum.

From your heart,

Feel the whole body altogether,

Whole body awareness.

And shine the light of your heart down into the earth,

The deep well of the mother,

The heart of creation.

Shine your heart's essence up towards the sky.

Connect with the ancestors of the lands,

Your roots and the ancestors of the stars and light carriers.

This heart inside of you,

The most compassionate eye in all directions of existence.

The invitation is to open to the transmission in the heart,

The heart of the mother and the heart of you as you open yourself to receive love,

Open to receive what you need.

Let go.

Connect the star in the pineal gland to the heart and open to all possibilities and potentials,

The Chidakasch,

Spacious awareness.

Let yourself feel and observe with love.

What does it feel like to hold yourself back,

To hold your creativity back,

Your expression?

What does that feel like?

And let that go.

What does it feel like to give your creativity the attention and validity to express yourself as you are?

What does that feel like?

Any sensations,

Emotions are welcome.

And let that go.

Release.

Come back to the Chidakasch.

What does it feel like to be inspired by a great idea and then doubt it,

To shut it down before you even begin?

And release that.

What does it feel like to fulfill the idea or innovation to completion and share it?

And release that.

What does it feel like to have no boundaries?

And release that.

What does it feel like to establish the boundaries you need to fulfill the creativity or the listening?

And release that.

Emerge in the Chidakasch.

Can you empty?

See the mind,

The heart,

With awareness of everything and nothing at once.

Happiness is abundance.

Be in the spacious awareness of infinite potentiality right now.

Find the light of your heart on a new truth for you.

What is your voice teaching you?

Who needs to hear this?

See it.

Co-create it.

When you are ready,

Invite that person or people in now.

Maybe it's you who needs to validate this freedom of expression.

Your voice.

Your permission.

Or perhaps you sit with spirit and listen for the co-creation.

The inner voice.

To seed and grow with patience.

Simply listen for your inner guidance to lead you.

There is no rush.

There is no rush.

There is no rush.

There is no rush.

There is no rush.

There is no rush.

Inside the deepest,

Most intimate space of your heart,

Arise.

Your inner,

Your sun kelpa.

Your sacred intention.

As you hear your own voice,

Feel it come alive.

And honor this by moving the toes,

The fingertips in this new way.

The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.

Simply scan the body.

Notice how you feel.

Make a gesture towards yourself.

Hands on the heart,

The belly.

Roll over to one side.

Then allow yourself to make any sound.

You can feel the throat vibrating.

Speak out loud to hear yourself.

Offer a prayer out loud from your heart.

Thank you for practicing.

Adiyom tat sat.

Very inspiring practice! Nice voice, well balanced sounds, insightful message. πŸ’š For me personally it was a healing experience in the sense that it got me to revisit old wounds with a renewed tenderness and lucidity, to bring focus and care to issues having to do with the things I hold most precious. Since those most profound, meaningful and beautiful things are also the ones that always seemed the most vulnerable, I rarely share them with anyone and have chosen long ago to hold those (actually most essential, core-)part of my truest self for myself. Though these things themselves are pretty much impossible to put into words due to their mystical nature, I did try (decades ago) to share some aspects of these truths I hold so dear through poetry or other means that might be able to grasp hints or glimpses I could share. Totally vulnerable and defenseless towards criticism and ridicule, I soon put away my efforts to share or communicate these ineffable truths. This practice made me realise I truly want and need to share and that the universe itself is quite eager to listen… However personal my own experience might seem, I cannot imagine anyone not having similar issues with sharing their own truths that they hold dearest, as those tend to be the ones with the least defenses, the ones that are themselves or make us most vulnerable. So I hope others may find in this nidra that same inspiration to trust some loved one enough to show their true, naked essence. If we can’t find the strenght to let our inner voice be heard without, then how can anyone really know or love us. I believe now such an effort to be worthwhile whatever the outcome. And the inner strenght to find, nourish and follow that belief, was seeded in this nidra for me. For that I’m grateful and hoping others may be empowered similarly by this practice. For that I’m inclined to say that this nidra in itself is a gift of grace touching on the divine. Wonderful practice! ✨ Hari om tat sat.. & namaste πŸ™
