Transcript
Welcome to this yoga nidra practice.
My name is Brittany and I am grateful to be here with you.
Gather what you need for practice and I invite you to choose one of your favorite essential oils to use the outer senses to arrive.
You could also use your imagination as in the memory of a tree,
A flower or something in nature that you love.
Place a drop or two in your hands,
Rub them together or imagine the aroma and close your eyes.
Cup the face gently and inhale.
Receive the scent.
Exhale,
Release.
Deep breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh out.
One more time.
Breathe in and exhale out.
And feel.
Notice how the fragrance lands in your body.
Lay yourself down on your back or in any position of comfort for today.
Close the eyelids.
Bring your inner gaze to the inner senses.
Allow yourself the freedom to explore inside your beloved body.
Where is your attention naturally going towards?
Observe without judgment of right,
Wrong,
Good,
Bad.
Let yourself relax and notice how you feel.
Organize all the energy at the center of the forehead and between the ears.
Imagine a pool of water,
Serene,
Calm.
Could be a lake or ocean or pond.
Invite the thoughts to become slower.
And see,
Feel into the element of this water.
Resolve to stay aware as your body rests deeply in stillness.
If you need to move,
Do so with intention and surrender back into stillness.
The practice of Yoga Nidra begins now.
The water begins to trickle down,
A slow stream flowing down through the central energy channel,
This Shishum Nanadi,
All the way down to your root chakra,
The base,
The perineum.
Scan your body from the middle of this channel.
Travel awareness up now from the root all the way to the crown of the head.
Weave in a belly breath with this focus.
As you breathe in,
Breathe down from the crown of the head all the way to the root.
And exhale up the spinal pathway,
All the way to the crown of the head.
Inhale down,
Exhale up.
With each cycle of breath,
Feel this channel opening and a fluidity of flow.
Keep going,
Guiding this pathway from the inside.
Arise inside your heart.
Feel into this sacred space.
How does your heart feel?
Sense.
Feel into your love,
Self-love,
The essence of the divine feminine.
An unconditional love that is eternal.
Invite yourself to this presence right now as you are.
Come home in your heart.
Guide this essence down into the bowl of the pelvis.
The watery nature of your womb space.
Creativity,
Fertility,
The sacral chakra,
Svaristana.
Tune into this space with loving awareness.
Be with whatever emotions are showing up.
No judgment,
No right or wrong.
Simply be.
Guide your awareness from the sacral space up the shishumna nadi and into your heart.
And weave from your heart down into the womb space.
Keep guiding this pathway until you fully resonate with this innate connection.
What are you grateful for?
Guide your intention from this elevated state of gratitude,
A sankalpa,
A sacred vow to yourself to embody as it's already true now.
It is an I AM statement or I embody.
And once you have it,
Repeat it to yourself three times.
Feel it fully in your whole heart.
Your whole body.
Weave this heart's essence into each body part.

The womb.
Feel the connection of the womb.
The heart.
And the pineal gland.
Feel the whole body all together.
The whole body all together.
And the body of water between the ears.
These waters are pure.
Warm.
Supportive.
Intuitive.
As you surrender to this support.
This embrace of the divine.
Notice the sensations.
And let go.
Release any resistance now.
You are held and supported.
These subtle pulsations.
Simply watch the breath come and go.
Like gentle ripples in the water.
Nourishing this connection you have with yourself.
Your feelings.
Your inner body.
Your whole body being breathed.
Your whole body being breathed in this divine essence.
Practicing discernment.
Learning to trust what you are feeling.
Feel into a yes.
How does a yes feel in your body?
And let it go.
Feel into a no.
How does a no show itself to you in your body?
And release that.
What does it feel like to be disassociated?
And release that.
What does it feel like to be in the body?
Connected in the body.
And let it go.
What does it feel like to trust yourself?
Any emotions or sensations with trusting yourself?
What does it feel like to trust the process?
And release now.
Release everything.
Into spacious awareness.
With your imagination,
Travel to a place where you feel safe and free.
It can be real or unreal.
You are allowed to dream it.
Place yourself there and notice what reveals itself.
See yourself.
Begin to cultivate and strengthen a confidence in you that emanates from your whole presence.
How do you see yourself and how do you feel in this confidence?
With your creativity,
Build a bridge or a link to the felt sense of trust.
And another connection to the felt sense of faith.
See yourself in this and feel it all together now.
Confidence,
Trust,
Faith.
Emerge in the heart or between the ears.
You may ask for assistance from your angels and spirit guides,
The beings of unconditional love.
They are here to assist you in this life and in the giving of life.
Allow your guides to bring you to a pacarena,
A place of emergence of waters,
A wellspring or a cave.
See what you see.
Be curious in the unknown as your intuition guides you and go there now.
Sit or lay yourself into this luminous waterway.
Notice the temperature.
Is it warm?
How do you feel into the nutritive qualities?
How does the energy of this space feel?
Any colors?
Any things you realize are the waters of the Divine Mother.
Can you float here completely held,
Safe and free to imagine your dreams coming true?
Imagine the mother.
Imagine the mother in you speaking to you as the sweet child ready for the world.
What does she say to you?
Listen.
The waters of birth,
Of life,
Of love.
Streamline all of this potential into your heart's wisdom.
Feel it all coming alive.
Repeat your Senkelpa to yourself three times.
Feel your sacred vow,
Your intention,
And your whole being.
Breathe in to fully accept this as your reality now.
Bring your hands onto your belly,
Your heart.
Embrace this moment fully with gratitude,
Love,
Presence.
The practice of Yogan Nidra is now complete.
Stretch your arms,
Your legs as your announcement of your awakening.
Bend your knees and roll over to one side in the fetal position.
An invitation to offer any prayers,
Giving thanks.
Thank you for practicing and for being here.
Hadyom.
