My Sit still,

Close your eyes and breathe deeply.

Ahead of you is a door.

It's called the angry door and has a red sign on it telling you so.

It is okay to enter this door.

It leads to a safe place where you can let go of your anger and get it out of your system.

Move through the door.

You have walked into a huge purple room.

It has lots and lots of purple cushions all over the floor.

They look soft and inviting.

You can see a huge unlit bonfire in the center of the room.

The room has a real sense of earthiness and peace.

Choose a spot amongst the cushions and make yourself comfortable.

I want you to lay there on the cushions and think about a situation that has made you angry.

Let the anger come into your mind and into your body.

Feel it churning in your tummy.

Feel your neck stiffen and your fists clench.

Now it is time to let go of your anger here in this safe place.

To do this,

I want you to throw a tantrum just like a little baby.

You will stomp,

Shout,

Yell,

Cry.

Throw yourself on the ground.

Kick cushions.

Scream that it's not fair.

And yell as loud as you can.

Go on.

Let it all out.

Keep going until you have let go of all the anger.

It has left your body and you feel exhausted.

Now lay there amongst the comfy cushions and look around.

You notice the bonfire has started crackling with a gorgeous looking purple flame.

Go and warm yourself by it and allow it to clear away any tiny bits of anger that you have left.

The warmth of the fire makes you feel calm,

Clear and free of negativity.

Once you are warmed,

Drink the glass of water that has magically appeared in front of you.

It is cool and delicious.

It makes you feel cool headed.

Sit now and imagine a positive solution to the situation that made you angry.

Now you are filled with feelings of happiness,

Safety and positivity.

Make your way back to the door and leave the angry room.

Leave all your bad feelings behind.

You are looking forward to finding a happy solution.

Bring your imagination back into your body and remember that you are actually sitting on a chair in your classroom.

When you are ready,

Wriggle your hands and feet,

Have a big stretch and open your eyes.

Time to go to school.

Don't be sad,

Don't be happy,

Be yourself.
