I'm so glad you're here.
So today I'm going to teach you one of my favorite energy work visualizations that I like to teach to my students and I use it every day myself.
It's called setting a grounding cord or grounding cord golden sun.
A great way to use this is to start your morning visualizing this grounding cord and this is how you begin to work with your energy.
So it's kind of an entry-level introduction practice for energy work.
So you'll go through this practice with your eyes closed.
Best to be seated.
You can sit on a cushion on the floor or you can have your feet on the ground.
Typically with energy work,
It's nice to have your feet on the ground,
But you can also sit on the floor.
So whatever is best for you,
But I would suggest sitting up.
So find a nice position and sit up nice and tall and allow your eyes to fall to close.
Mine will stay open as I'm teaching.
Good and take a breath.
And as you're sitting here,
Imagine that you have a belt going around your core,
The center of your body.
Good,
And imagine that that belt is attached to a long tube that goes all the way down,
Down,
Down to the center of the earth.
Imagine that tube is connected all the way to the center of the earth.
Now try to feel into what your connective tube looks like,
Your energy cord or grounding cord looks like.
Is it soft?
Is it strong?
Is it made of wood?
Or a light fabric.
Does it have a color?
Is it sheen or glimmery?
Or is it metal,
Metallic?
The natural.
What does yours look like today?
Good and feel that connection between the center of your body and all the way down to the center of the earth.
And as you're sitting here imagining that chord,
Start to say in your own mind to yourself the word release.
Release,
Release,
Release.
And imagine tension just dripping off your body in little gloops and globs.
Black or charcoal colored.
Into the grounding cord.
And all the way down to the center of the earth where it can be repurposed.
Good.
Release,
Release,
Release.
Could be physical tension,
Emotional tension,
Release,
Release,
Release.
Good,
And then when you feel complete,
Imagine that there's a bright sun outside of your face.
You can feel the warmth on your face.
And imagine yourself reaching up and touching it.
Popping a little hole into that golden sun.
And imagine it's warm sunlight oozing over the crown of your head.
Down over your face.
Over your chest and neck.
Belly.
You're all the way down your core,
Sits bones,
Pubic bones.
Your legs and arms.
Imagine yourself filling up with that golden sunlight.
Good and when you feel complete you can open your eyes.
It's a really shortened version but just a quick practice you can do in a matter of minutes every single morning to set your day.
