The truth is no one can tell you exactly how to heal.

This is a lesson I learned over and over in my own healing journey from a digestive autoimmune condition.

And yet I believe within each one of us is an inner healer.

This deep inner knowing that can't be explained by the rational mind.

And when we trust this intuitive side of ourselves,

Our healing potential of our bodies and minds is infinite.

And I'd like to share how we can tap into and awaken this inner healer.

Blessings,

This is Brenda Cary and I'm a holistic healer for highly sensitive souls.

And my intention for this channel is to share wisdom,

Insights that I've learned from my own healing journeys so that you can awaken your own inner healer.

I'd like to share how we can tap into this healing potential that we all have within us.

Because truthfully,

No one can tell you exactly how to heal.

This is something I learned early on in my own healing journey from a digestive autoimmune condition.

At that point,

I was so frustrated that I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat,

What supplements or medications to take,

What healing modalities would work the best and any mental or emotional therapies that I could do in order to relieve the pain that I was experiencing every day.

And the truth is,

I needed to do my own inner healing work and to begin the process of trusting myself and my body's innate capacity to heal.

Now,

Not to say that I didn't take in other medical experts' advice and other information that I have learned,

But I needed to filter that information through my own intuitive lens.

And at the end of this,

I'm going to guide us through a practice to help us do just that.

So stick with me till the end.

But I'd like to give this story a little bit more context because I think some of us could really relate to it.

During my healing journey,

I had subconsciously learned to think like an unhealthy or sick person.

I had believed that I was all of my symptoms and diagnoses.

I thought that I was the waves of emotions that felt uncontrollable to me at the time.

Ultimately,

This colored the lens through which I saw my world.

I had begun to expect to experience stomach pain every day and expect to be tired throughout the day and to think that these emotional weights would overcome me.

That became who I thought I was.

But ultimately,

We are not our symptoms or our diagnoses or even our feelings and emotions.

Even though as a highly sensitive empath,

I feel and process deeply.

I would think that was me,

But it wasn't.

Be honest with yourself and loving.

What is it for you?

How might you be subconsciously thinking like an unhealthy person?

How does that influence the decisions that you make?

Or how does that create expectations throughout your day?

Again,

No judgment or criticism,

Just something to reflect on.

As promised,

I'd like to guide us through a mindfulness practice to tap into this healing potential to allow us to feel more centered and grounded so that we can listen deeply to our intuition.

So you can be seated or standing.

You can keep your eyes open or closed.

Let's bring the palms of our hands together and begin to rub them vigorously.

Begin to breathe a little bit deeper as you're rubbing the palms of the hands together and then separate the hands about an inch or a little bit more apart.

Feel the sensation in between the palms of the hands.

Here,

You are acknowledging that you are so much more than your physical body and more than your chattering mind,

That you extend beyond your skin,

And that you are a unique energetic signature in this world.

Then I invite you to place your hands on a part of the body that you feel needs healing.

You could also place your hands on a part of the body symbolically,

For example,

Placing your hand at your heart for mental or emotional healing.

And as you hold this sacred presence for yourself,

Allow these words to become your own.

I acknowledge my body's innate capacity to heal.

I am open to receiving healing.

May I love myself into vibrant health,

Knowing I am worthy of so much joy and compassion.

I am open to receiving healing from an open mind and heart.

I trust that the answers that I need will be revealed to me in the perfect time.

And so it is.

And when you feel ready,

Coming back to this space,

If this practice resonated with you,

Please subscribe to this channel.

And as always,

Blessings,

So many blessings on your awakened healing journey.
