The God Box meditation can be used to compartmentalize our worries in order to focus on the here and now. This meditation is a visualization meditation aimed at allowing us to release our worries, let go of irrational fears, and find a sense of calm. In this way, we can perform at our best, and cultivate confidence in ourselves.

Hello,

And thank you for spending time with us on Insight Timer.

My name is Brianna,

Also known as Breezy Spreadlove.

This meditation is a visualization meditation aimed at allowing us to release our worries,

Let go of irrational fears,

And find a sense of calm.

The God Box meditation can be used to compartmentalize our worries in order to focus on the here and now.

In this way,

We can perform at our best and cultivate confidence in ourselves.

I invite you to embark on this empowering meditation journey together.

Let's begin.

Please get into a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

We will begin by exhaling the breath that you are on and inhaling deeply.

As we exhale,

Slowly,

We release and relax the shoulders and the stomach.

Exhaling gently again.

As you exhale,

Allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation,

Feeling the weight of your body sink towards the earth.

Exhaling one more time,

And as we exhale slowly,

We return to normal breathing and we begin to imagine.

Imagine that we are floating peacefully and safely in space,

Just outside Earth's atmosphere,

Yet inside its magnetic field.

You feel calm as you float here and admire the earth and all its beauty.

You notice a box that is floating near you.

It is near enough that you can see its detail.

And you admire this box because it is strong and sturdy.

This is your God box.

It is a divine box that is specific to you in color,

Texture,

Shape,

And size.

You pick up this box gingerly,

Gently,

And feel its weight in your hands.

You slowly become aware that your angels and your ancestors and all your guides are here to assist you on this healing journey.

This is your moment to release anything that you are worried about,

That you are fearful of,

Or that you hold anxiety.

Become aware of all that has been worrying you.

You begin to recall people,

Situations,

Or events that bring you stress,

That cause fear to arise within you.

Visualize the first situation that brings you stress.

Try to give this situation a symbol,

Color,

Or specific image.

This situation solidifies itself into a symbol that is floating in front of you.

Feel the blessings and strength coming from your guides and ancestors.

They support you and encourage you to reach out and grab hold of this symbol.

Feel your courage and confidence rise as you grab this symbol and place it into the God Box.

This box has a divine power and gift to hold on to all of your worries and that brings you stress.

Affirm that this situation will no longer have power over you once it is placed in the God Box by repeating the following phrases silently.

I offer this situation up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

This situation no longer has power over me.

I offer this situation up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

This situation no longer has power over me.

Now visualize another situation or person that brings you anxiety.

Gently imagine this situation or person as a symbol.

Again,

This can be a shape,

A color,

Or a freeze-frame image like a photo.

Allow this situation or person to solidify into a symbol that is unique.

Grab hold of this symbol and place it into the God Box.

Know your guides support you on your healing journey.

Affirm that this situation or person no longer has power over you once it is placed in the God Box by repeating the following phrases silently.

I offer this situation or person up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

I trust the divine will take care of this situation or person in the best way possible.

Therefore it no longer has power over me.

I offer this situation or person up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the God Box,

I trust the divine will take care of this situation or person in the best way possible.

Therefore it no longer has power over me.

I offer this situation or person up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

I trust the divine will take care of this situation or person in the best way possible.

Therefore it no longer has power over me.

Now visualize an irrational fear.

Something you wish you were not afraid of.

Knowing that your guides and ancestors support you on your healing journey,

Gently imagine this fear.

Giving this fear a symbol that is unique and grabbing hold of it.

Feel the power of grasping hold of this symbol.

Know that the tables have now turned as you grasp this fear.

Know that once this symbol is placed in the box,

This fear cannot harm you.

It no longer has the same power it once had over you.

Place the symbol in the box and affirm this fear no longer has power over you by repeating the following phrases silently.

I offer this fear up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

I accept my newfound courage because this fear no longer has the same power over me.

I offer this fear up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

I accept my newfound courage because this fear no longer has the same power over me.

I offer this fear up to the divine.

Once it is placed in the box,

I accept my newfound courage.

Because this fear no longer has the same power over me.

Now I invite you to close the lid to the box,

Shutting in all those worries,

Anxieties,

And fears that no longer serve you.

This lid is strong and tight and it will not open once you have closed it.

Take a breath,

Inhaling deeply.

And as you exhale,

Express gratitude towards your guides and ancestors for assisting you at this time.

You are supported.

Take another breath,

Inhaling deeply this new sense of freedom and courage.

Perhaps you feel lighter,

Perhaps you feel more open.

Exhale any doubts and allow yourself to settle into the calmness of this healing process.

Notice how you are feeling.

Take a final deep breath in and as you exhale,

Begin to make small movements in your fingers and toes,

Bringing your awareness back into the space.

And when you are ready,

You may open your eyes and gently return to the world.
