
Breathwork For Physical Healing
*We recommend completing the (shorter) Breathwork for Healing and Transformation if this is your first time.* Reconnect with your innate ability to self-heal and your body's wisdom. This active breathing technique induces the mind and body into a deeply relaxed state by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to heal, release and regulate.

This is an active breathing meditation.
And if this is your first time trying breath work or this particular pranayama technique,
I highly recommend trying one of my shorter recordings first.
This particular process helps to release stuck energy and emotions in the body.
And often your first few times doing it can be really intense.
So it is my greatest intention and honor to support you along your path.
And also just so that you get the most out of your experience.
You'll wanna start with one of the shorter meditations first.
And as a reminder,
You'll want to be laying down flat for the entirety of this process.
It's helpful not to have your head too propped up so that your neck can remain open and your posture straight.
We do this to help the blood and the oxygen flow move throughout the body.
And in this recording,
We'll be taking a little time to set our intentions and really ground in the body before we start the breathing.
But you'll wanna be ready in your space,
Creating something comfortable and nurturing for yourself.
You may even wanna leave a little time afterwards to integrate.
As I mentioned,
This is a very active technique.
And because we are stimulating our autonomic system,
There are some things that can occur that are normal,
That may not seem normal.
So I just wanna remind you,
It's really common for emotion to come up.
It's important that you allow that energy to be released.
You may have some temperature changes in the body.
So having a blanket to put on or take off can be helpful.
I'll be guiding you through the entire process and reminding you of the breath.
But particularly at the beginning,
You'll feel the discomfort and the resistance come up.
I like to say that this first,
Say two to seven minutes are the part where we're tasing the ego and the mind.
And we're inducing the body into a really relaxed state.
And just before we do that,
You may notice heightened sensations or you may notice yourself wanting to escape.
And it's totally safe.
Just try to stick with the breath and stay in it.
And know that the entire time that we are moving through this meditation,
It is totally your choice to take the breath softer or more gentle.
Generally,
The more vigorous the breath,
The bigger the release,
But trust your intuition.
And if at any point you feel your hands clenching or too much discomfort,
Just take the breath really gentle.
And in this particular meditation,
We're working on physical healing.
So it will be or can be even more common for these physical sensations to come up.
If you've had an injury or if you are injured,
You may notice the sensations heightening there or not.
I just like to tell you all the things that can occur.
But what I've noticed in leading these classes the last few years is that often the pain and trauma will be trying to leave the body.
And I've had people heal from chronic issues several years of chronic pain in one session.
Albeit they tend to be longer sessions and we discuss the nature of healing and our subconscious because in order for pain or issues or problems to leave,
In order for us to heal,
We have to A,
Surrender and B,
Understand their greater purpose.
So as you move through this,
Just remain open to any insight you receive and trust what you get while you're in this heightened relaxed state.
Because we're also activating the pineal gland which is known to be the connector to the etheric world.
So it's really common for us to receive messages when we go into this space.
But the only thing you really need to do is to relax and to let go and to remain open.
So make sure you're comfortable in a totally undisturbed place for this entire time.
You may wanna light a candle or have a diffuser nearby with your favorite scent.
If you have crystals that you like to integrate,
Just trust your intuition and placing those on you or around you.
This is your experience to make the most of.
In this case,
And as always,
You are your greatest healer.
So when you're ready,
Lay down,
Center,
Open to receive,
And I'm so very honored to guide you through this process.

And if it's comfortable for you and if it feels inspired to maybe take one hand on your belly and one to the heart.

Supportive vessel,
For holding all that I am and what I have yet to become.
And thank you for through you,

This miraculous experience here.
Dear soul,
Higher self,
Great wisdom,
I'm willing to surrender the perceptions or judgments that keep me from knowing my body's true potential,
Which is also my own.
I'm ready to listen.
I'm ready to let go.
And relaxing your hands by your side,
Allowing the body to just lay and relax.
We're going to go ahead and start with the breathing pattern.
The first part of the inhale is in the belly,
The second in the chest.
One exhale out and everything will remain in and out of the mouth.
This will be the breathing pattern for the entire time.
Remembering that you can take the breath shallow or as deep as you'd like.
And notice that the inhale is the same length as the exhale.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
And with this particular breathing pattern,
We're inducing the mind and body into a deeply relaxed state.
So it's totally normal for discomfort to arise at first.
You are totally safe.
You are held.
And even if you become lightheaded,
It will pass quickly.
And just nice,
Easy breaths.
Everything is in and out of the mouth.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
And consider any resistance that may come up,
Be it mental or physical,
As the aspects of you that are unwilling to change.
Remember that the greater the resistance in life,
The greater the potential for transformation.
And so your power here is in surrender.
Knowing that the mind is meant to serve our ascension and our growth.
So if you notice that it searches to be of service,
Just let it focus on the breath.
Let it reground you into the present moment.
And as you commit to the breath,
You commit to your transformation.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
Continuing to let go.
We must surrender before we can be carried.
And letting the body totally relax.
And giving yourself this experience fully.
And if you're feeling energy in the body starting to shift,
That's your healing beginning to take place.
We're getting blood and oxygen circulating through the body.
We're activating the organs and cells that are responsible for releasing and transferring energy.
The blood flow is also working its way up to the brain,
Stimulating the hypothalamus,
The pituitary gland,
And giving the body the signal to relax.
We have to turn off the ego mind so the body can begin to regenerate and heal as it's designed to.
Our bodies are truly miraculous by design.
They innately heal.
And so if the energy feels intense,
Just know that it will subside and that this energy is working for you.
And if you feel like you need to take the breath a little gentler or slower you can,
Try to just commit to the pattern of the breath.
The very same intelligence that brings life to all things also moves through you.
We need only make way for it.
The body may already be showing you where you're holding any discord,
Stuck emotion,
Or even pain.
But pain is nothing to take ownership of.
Pain is meant to pivot us more fervently into our spiritual growth and vitality.
And if there are no physical sensations,
Just scanning the body,
Noticing where your energy and awareness wants to stop.
Even if it's just a sense of disconnection,
Just bringing the breath there.
And all discord,
Be it physical or emotional,
Is really just feedback,
Letting us know where we stand in relation to our true,
Miraculous nature,
Which is neutral and pure.
And when we ignore the initial soft and gentle nudges of our body's wisdom,
The signals will become louder,
But only in hopes that we may listen,
In hopes to guide us to our wholeness.
And so what feedback or information may your body be offering you?
It might be showing you where you've asked it to carry your untrue.
And isn't it beautiful that our bodies are unwilling to hold what we are not?
And if it feels comfortable for you,
You can do a few vocal releases just by connecting with the tone that feels appropriate to help kind of shift that energy.
It may be a soft,
Ah.
It could even be a cry.
It's really normal for emotions to come up.
Emotions are energy in motion.
Perhaps imagining that energy being lifted.
And if you've done a vocal release just coming back to the rhythm of the breath,
We're almost there.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
And then,
Hanging with the breath,
Taking it deeper or more shallow.
Continuing to let go,
To open.
For when have we ever made healing happen?
Healing is the return to neutrality.
Into our inherent,
Abundant and thriving state.
And what might any discord really be there to teach you?
What do you want you to let go of?
What beliefs are untruths?
What does your body need to support you more fully?
If its signals were truly just calls to come back home to your wholeness,
To who you really are,
What would your body have you know?
And trust what you sense,
Your body is an energetic extension of your eternal,
Unbounded and true essence,
But is far from separate.
It also does not define you.
And yet it is the very thing that can connect you to all that is real and true.
And just a few more breaths here.
And what if our bodies only became burdened by our forgetfulness?
When we mistakenly believe our worth,
Well-being or wisdom to live outside of us?
And what if by unplugging from its wisdom we unplugged from our inherent truth?
And so open your heart space and field,
Open to the healing life force that is available to us all.
Coming back to a normal breath now.
How do you want to will your body,
Your vehicle for expansion into being now?
For you are made of light,
Carried by the great intelligence that brings life to all things.
So breathe it in now.
This is where the integration really occurs.
You came to transcend the perceptions that came before you.
You came to defy the impossible.
To bring your unique and inherent truth forth.
To bridge heaven here on earth.
And all through and with this body.
Feel what's possible when you see it as the miraculous vehicle that it is.
A tool for awakening.
Not just your own but for all of creation.
You came here with no small purpose.
You came to move through this life in conscious awareness of what truly is.
To not only remember but to live from your eternal and unbounded essence.
And to live from this place is to remember the power that you hold as a co-creator.
Change is the energy of creation.
Healing is easy.
And the beauty we marvel at is the witnessing of this eternal life becoming.
And all this works in favor of your healing and your return to perfect health.
So harness your healing now.
And connect with your breath.
This life force.
And if it's comfortable and possible for you to just bring your hands to touch the body.
Perhaps the places that call for your presence.
Your remembrance.
One hand on the heart and one on the belly.
We have to really be with what is to begin to liberate energy.
So send universal life force there.
Using the breath to amplify it.
Imagining what it would feel like to breathe in healing energy.
To let it illuminate every crevice within you.
Allow yourself to multiply this feeling.
This healing.
And its intelligence.
There's nothing you have to do but witness it.
And experience it.
And feel it so that it may be made real.
What would it feel like to breathe in your remembrance?
To activate your oneness.
Which is to activate your true co-creative power.
Let yourself feel the intensity of this.
Feel this connection to life force.
To everything around you.
From the earth beneath you.
From the spaces in between.
This intelligence exists within all things.
Let it intensify.
You are your greatest healer.
There is no wisdom that lives outside of you.
You need only come here.
And you are your most direct line to source.
Dearest body.
Thank you for making this life possible.
I'm ready to listen.
To come home to you.
To co-create with you.
And thank you for my ability to feel.
For in this is my ability to experience life becoming.
And thank you for this breath.
May I remember that my healing is a choice.
That my power inherent.
And therefore impermeable.
And that my potential truly infinite.
So I surrender this abiding vessel and this expansive heart to be used by intelligence in the best and highest way for all.
And if the illusions of the conditional world become alluring.
May I be reminded of the impermeable power that lives here within me.
And that my transcendence will always live beyond form.
