Welcome to the Anytime Gratitude Practice.
In this practice,
We're going to tap into our inner well of gratitude and thanksgiving through mindfulness,
Breathing,
And affirmative prayer.
The term gratitude has been an ever-growing buzzword,
A commercial term,
If you will.
However,
When we dig deeper,
Past the surface level,
We find that gratitude is actually a frequency or vibration we can hold in our bodies.
It's a state of mind and being,
And in fact,
The highest state of mind and being for manifestation,
Receivership,
And creation.
When we fully embody the feeling tone of gratitude,
Head to toe,
Glowing throughout.
So,
Whether you're just starting your day,
Or you're at your midday,
Or just about to go to sleep,
For the next few minutes,
I invite you to join me in this practice and for you to fully commit to being right here,
Right now,
And present in this time that you've decided to invest into yourself.
If you've not already,
I invite you to grab a seat or lay down.
Close your eyes,
If you wish.
We're going to begin with some affirmative prayer.
I'll speak words of truth and gratitude,
And you can listen and feel and embody the feeling tone along the way.
Then we'll get into some breathing and affirmation,
Followed by some time and space to sit in this high vibrational field of gratitude that you'll be amplifying through this practice.
And then we'll close out,
Ready to go for the next part of your day.
Here we go.
First off,
I invite you to take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Fully in,
Filling the belly and the chest all the way in and up,
Holding that breath just for a moment and releasing through pursed lips,
Just noticing and allowing your body to center in on this moment,
Allowing yourself to create space for this practice,
For this time,
For this moment.
Here we go.
I give thanks in this very moment that I am here,
That I am alive,
That I experience this breath,
This moment as the individual I am today,
Knowing that I am in the right place at the right time,
As the right individual for my expansion,
For my healing,
For my highest and best,
Understanding that the universal presence,
Life energy,
Is always working for my good,
Not only supporting me in my journey of unfoldment,
Of successes and failures,
Of learning and letting go.
But in fact,
This source energy,
With all of its unending and limitless energy,
Is conspiring for my greater good.
And with all of life being for me,
Nothing can be against me as I become an even greater expression of who and what it is that I am.
Of course,
We will all experience moments of difficulties,
Of challenges,
Of heartache,
Even catastrophe,
Loss.
But it is in those experiences that we grow,
That we learn,
That we can have the opportunity to heal or discover elements of ourselves that we need to let go of,
Or that we need to cherish within and cultivate.
It is in those moments that we get to experience the highs and lows of this lifetime.
They call this the earth school.
And while it feels better to live a challenge-free life,
There becomes no opportunity for learning and growing.
It is in those challenges and difficulties that present opportunity for learning and growing.
I invite you to take a nice deep breath and hold it at the top.
And while you hold,
Take in a little bit more if you can.
I want you to feel the feelings of gratitude inside your body right now and say with that inner voice,
That inner feeling tone,
That I am grateful for this moment.
I am grateful for this moment,
Even if it's a difficult moment.
Release that breath slowly through pursed lips and with a smile on your face,
Taking another deep breath in through the nose all the way up and in,
Filling the belly,
Filling the chest and hold it again at the top.
And just say with your inner voice and feeling tone,
I am grateful.
I am grateful.
I am thankful.
Release the breath again nice and slow.
Now,
I invite you to take 10 quick breaths and then fill your belly and chest comfortably full once again,
Noticing the physical feelings in the body and ask yourself,
What can I be grateful for in this moment?
The breath in your lungs,
The roof over your head,
What can I feel grateful about right now?
Release the breath,
Take 10 quick breaths,
And then fill your belly and chest comfortably full and ask yourself,
What is this moment trying to teach me?
What is this moment trying to teach me?
Release the breath.
Let's do it one more time.
Take 10 quick breaths and then fill your belly and chest again and ask yourself,
How can I move through this moment with more love,
More understanding,
More gratitude,
With a more grounded presence?
And release that breath one more time.
Now,
I invite you to continue a slow,
Gentle,
Yet deliberate breath in through the nose and out through the mouth or nose.
And just really turn it on.
Feel what it feels like to be grateful,
To have gratitude in this moment,
To be thankful right now.
If you're having trouble feeling what that feels like,
Remember a time when you received the biggest gift in your world at that time that you've been that you've been wanting or needing or hoping for,
And it had just been handed to you.
Feel that feeling throughout your whole body,
That excitement and enthusiasm,
And feeling of all-needs-met thankfulness.
Finally,
Thank you.
Allow yourself to sink into this vibrational field even deeper and allow each and every cell in your body to radiate,
To glow with that sensation head to toe.
Hang out here for just a few more moments.
Beautiful.
Let's take one deep,
Embodying breath again,
Deeply,
Fully in through the nose,
All the way in.
Hold that breath for just a moment,
One last time.
And in gratitude,
Release that breath slowly all the way out.
Empty all the air in your lungs and just go back to normal breath,
Letting the body breathe you,
How your body naturally breathes on its own.
I challenge you to carry this feeling tone as far as you can into your day or evening to come,
Even into tomorrow and the next day.
You can always come back to this practice as well to help ground yourself and once again amplify this high vibrational feeling tone.
Thank you for your time and energy.
I wish you a lovely day or night ahead.
Stay well.
Namaste.
