Welcome to this energy activation breathwork practice.
This is a great practice for when you need an energy boost or when you feel like you could use more clarity and focus.
When you begin to realize that most of your perceived energy does not come from food or sleep and that you have the ability to tap into the field of energy that connects all of life right now,
In this moment,
In this breath,
The game changes.
We're going to charge up the body,
Clear the mind,
And fully activate that energetic connection within right now.
We're going to take 50 deep conscious breaths in through the mouth or nose and out through the mouth,
Then taking a slight pause to check in with ourselves and allow this energy to begin to move through us in an even greater capacity.
And then we'll do 50 more deep breaths together.
I invite you to be seated or lay down for this practice,
As there is the possibility that as you're waking up that energy throughout the body,
You can experience lightheadedness,
Tingling in the hands and arms,
A sense of vibration,
Or even a change of temperature in the body.
This is normal and natural,
And it's how we move energy through us and activate those healing and energizing systems.
If at any point you feel the need to pause from the practice,
You can always switch to a gentle breath slowly in through the nose and out through the mouth or nose,
And this will quickly calm down the experience.
Before we get going,
Let's take two deep grounding breaths in through the nose,
All the way in,
Hold at the top for a moment,
And release that to the sound of ah,
Allowing your awareness and attention to come to this moment,
Letting anything but this practice fall from your awareness,
Letting go,
Letting go.
One last grounding breath deeply in through the nose,
Fully in,
All the way in,
And hold for a moment,
And let that go to the sound of ah.
Alright,
Nice work.
If you wish,
I invite you to close your eyes,
Place a hand on your heart and your belly,
Or if you're seated,
Palms up,
In your lap,
Or on the floor beside you,
And let's get to work.
Breathing deeply in through the mouth or nose,
Filling the belly and chest all in one nice big deep breath,
50 breaths,
First round,
Here we go.
In and out.
In letting go.
In and out.
All the way in,
Fully out.
In letting go.
Keep going on your own,
Following the pace of my breath as best you can.
Think of the breath in three parts,
Belly out,
Chest up and out,
And rising into your head.
In letting go.
That's 10.
And out.
Fully in.
Release.
I'm setting a pace now with the breath,
But don't worry if you can't keep that.
If this seems at all too fast for you,
There is a reduced speed version of this same practice you can find on my profile as well.
Just do your best,
Bring your best,
And keep breathing.
That's 20.

Again in one continuous deep breath,
Filling belly outward,
Filling chest outward,
Rising into your head and letting that go.
In release.
Fully in.
And out.
In letting go.

Over halfway through this first round.

Noticing that energy activating.
Those body systems turning on and charging up.
Noticing embracing any sensations arising in the body.
Ten breaths left.
Go for it.
Staying right here on this breath in this moment.

All the way in and let that go.
Five to go,
Accelerating slightly.
Three.
Two.
Last one.
Take in your deepest breath yet,
Full belly,
Full chest.
Hold that for just a moment.
Take in a tiny sip more air and let that go.
Excellent work.
That's 50 breaths behind us.
You may be starting to feel more energized.
Having a more clear and peaceful sense of being.
Perhaps inspired thoughts are flowing to you.
During this brief pause,
Allow your breathing to go back to normal with your eyes closed.
Still if you wish.
It could be helpful to write down these inspired thoughts.
Or perhaps if your body is feeling charged and tingly,
You could gently shake out your hands or a little head to toe movement adjustment.
Sinking into this space even deeper.
Relaxing into this practice even more as we prepare to complete the activation with 50 more breaths.
If there is any sensations of lightheadedness,
Tingliness in the hands,
Arms,
And body,
Perhaps a newfound warmth or coolness,
Energy moving in the body,
It's okay.
It's how the breath works in the body.
Okay.
Again,
In one continuous deep breath,
Feeling belly outward,
Feeling chest outward,
Rising into your head and letting that go.
Round two of 50 breaths.

Imagine stress leaving the body through each and every exhale.
And imagine peace,

And energy coming in with each in-breath.
