Hello my name is Alexa from Breathing Back To You and I'm going to lead you through a breathwork journey that will move a significant amount of energy through your body.

You'll come out feeling lighter and more connected to yourself.

This meditation is active in nature and may be a little intense but I promise it will be worth it.

You may also have a transcendental experience or an emotional or physical release.

This breathwork is designed to remove emotional and energetic blockages from the body and is one of my favorite practices.

First things first,

Please find a comfortable and private space to lie down either on a bed or yoga mat.

It's best to lie flat and to keep your arms and legs uncrossed so energy can freely move throughout your body.

If you can cover yourself with a blanket that would be preferable.

Your body may experience temperature fluctuations during this experience.

You may also want to set the space,

Maybe lighting some Palo Santo or a candle.

Just create the space with loving,

Nurturing intention.

Now before we begin I am going to describe the breathwork pattern.

We will be doing this practice mainly with your mouth and a three-part breath.

Inhaling in your belly,

In your chest or heart space and exhaling out your mouth.

I will guide you through the specific rhythms during the practice but feel free to go at your own pace and remember that we are doing this practice all throughout your mouth.

So let's begin.

Begin by sinking into the support beneath you on the floor,

The bed,

Yoga mat and let's start the circular breath.

Inhaling in your belly,

In your heart and exhaling through your mouth.

Allow the breath to flow effortlessly like a rhythmic dance.

The faster you breathe,

The more sensations,

The more energy you're going to feel throughout the body.

Listen to your breath.

Envision each inhale as vibrant energy filling every cell of your body.

As you exhale,

Release tension,

Letting the air carry away any negativity,

Any heaviness that you're carrying.

You may even want to make noise with that final exhale through your mouth.

Vocalizing the ah as you release any heaviness.

Now turn your focus inward.

Feel the breath sinking with your body.

What is your body telling you?

What is your body asking of you?

Inhale,

Sense your energy expanding and exhale releasing any barriers,

Any constriction,

Any self-limiting beliefs.

And as you breathe,

Silently affirm,

I am in harmony with my body's needs.

I am connected to my energy.

I am connected to myself.

All the answers that I seek are inside of me.

Let those words echo within you as you deepen that connection.

That connection with your soul,

Your intuition,

Your inner knowing.

Continue the circular breath,

Maintaining the flow.

Visualize your breath and soul dancing in unity as you breathe.

Keep going.

Continue the breathing pattern at your own pace.

As you breathe,

Stay connected with your body.

Become aware of all that energy flowing through you.

And notice where you're creating space in your body.

Where can you release any heaviness,

Any constriction,

Any contractions?

Breathe into that space,

Into those spaces.

Keep going.

Stay with the breath.

Stay with this connection,

This connection with yourself.

And as you connect with yourself,

With your breath,

With your soul,

What is it that you truly desire?

What is it that you truly need,

That you truly want?

Connect with that need,

With your breath.

Breathing in all of that love,

All that peace.

And letting go of any fear,

Any anxiety,

Any confusion.

Stay with the breath.

Now allow the breath to naturally slow.

And be aware of where all that energy is settling in your body.

Feel the lingering connection between breath and soul.

In this quiet space,

Explore the profound connection that you've cultivated.

Let your mind wander and simply be present with your body.

Appreciate this connection,

The stillness.

Now return to your normal everyday breath.

In your nose and out your nose.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this newfound awareness with you.

Thank you for dedicating this time to you.

May you feel guided by your breath.

And remember that this connection is always available to you.
