Where your attention goes,
Energy flows.
Thank you for pushing play on this meditation.
I hope you enjoy it as we observe where our attention is during this meditation and during a typical day that we may have.
Start to breathe in through your nose and out through your nose or mouth.
Taking in a deep breath and exhaling big to just let go.
Letting go of everything that came before this meditation and letting go of everything that is to come after this meditation so that we can be fully present.
So that we can give our attention to the present moment.
Allow the breath to come in through your nostrils like a wave that comes upon the shore.
And exhaling,
Subsiding the wave back out.
Taking in again as the wave gently comes back upon the shore and exhaling allowing the wave to return back into the ocean.
Allow your attention to become fully present here with the wave of your breath.
Focusing your attention on the in-breath,
The wave as it comes in.
And focusing your attention on the wave of the out-breath as it goes out.
You can now release the thoughts about what we're doing and allow your attention to gently observe the feeling of what we're doing.
Breathing in,
Feeling,
Feeling with your attention.
And breathing out,
Putting your attention on what it feels like the breath coming out of your nostrils leaving the body.
Bringing your attention to just observe,
Just to be.
Bringing your full attention to the present moment.
What gifts does this present moment have for you?
Bringing our attention to the present moment allows us to get in that gap that Wayne Dyer talks about,
The gap between thought.
Bringing the attention to the body and our sensory experiences allows us to be in that beautiful mystical gap of divine essence.
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the nose or mouth.
Can you recall now where your attention goes throughout your day?
Does your attention go to many external things which is not a bad thing?
We all have things outside of ourselves that we must give attention to.
Is your attention going to positive thought patterns that help elevate your life?
Or is your attention going to thought patterns that keep you stuck,
That keep you feeling negative?
Just observe where you think your attention goes most often.
Without judging,
The judgment doesn't help anything.
Just observe where it goes and allow it to be.
And notice that wherever your attention has been going,
Right now in this moment you're going to release all of the places that your attention has been going.
Whether seemingly positive or negative,
Allow it all to just go.
Bringing the attention back to this present moment.
Continue to be present in this moment,
Placing all of your attention on breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth very gently for the next couple of minutes.
Bringing yourself back to a place of center.
If you notice your attention start to wander.
I will join you in a couple minutes.
Bringing your attention back to the sound of my voice.
Together,
Let's set an intention to bring our awareness.
To bring our attention to matters of the mind that elevate us to thought patterns that are positive,
That keep us happy,
That help us find solutions.
Let's set an intention to place our attention on the things that we value most in life,
On the qualities that we wish to exude.
Bringing our attention on the person we want to be.
Let's place our attention on gratitude for all that is and for the possibilities of all that can be.
And as often as we can,
Let's bring our attention to the present moment and have gratitude for the present moment.
It is the present moment that creates our future.
And when we can give all of our attention and love and focus and energy to the present moment,
We can create a beautiful future with possibilities that are so divine.
Now if you can place your hand over your heart,
Bring your awareness to gratitude and gratitude for yourself.
Think about something you're grateful for about yourself right now in this moment.
Think about how good it feels to feel grateful for yourself in this present moment.
How good it feels to bring your attention to this present moment.
And always remember where your attention goes,
Energy flows.
You can redirect your attention at any time with love and compassion to create,
Have,
And be the experiences in life that you desire most.
